While browsing Wikipedia I discovered that Woodstock's 40th anniversary is planned. In New York and Berlin. With slogan: "For a green World – It's a free concert from now".

Your opinions, going or not? (If it really happens of course)

I will pass. But the 20th anniversary at the original site was an amazing experience. Absolutely nothing was planned- and yet thousands showed up, stages and kitchens created, lots of good drugs freely shared, a lunar eclipse...i remember sitting on the hill at night watching a massive traffic jam of folks just coming by to see and pay their respects.

there will blatently be loads of bands noone has ever heard of, and 1 famous group/singer like U2 who just want to be seen as "green"

It'll never be as glorious anymore, just because people end up drinking, snorting and doing E.

It can only be repeated if an absolute majority does LSD and cannabis with passion. It's a more a matter of main stream mentality than performing artists though.
