hi all,
I have obtained a large number of high quality seeds, but they are not 'bred' sereds, to my knowledge.
They are of indica dominance, but I suspect it to be a hybrid,
very potent, ~4 hour high, very cerebral. Big, hard buds.

If they are wild, does anyone have a clue to the selection numbers one would start in order to hope for a 'special' plant.

In the old days, these plants were known as 'sports'...or
freaks.

I'm sure once I grow them out, I would be able to know more, such as the degree of their 'refinement' breeding-wise.

thanx

Seems like it might just come down to trial and error spice, unless you know the exact genealogy of the strains you have, maybe then it would be easier to selectively breed in or out certain traits.
I’m sure they will be hybrids, especially if they were wild; indica dominance is always a plus for potency and growth habits, especially for outdoor, not so much for overall yield. Sounds like a nice strain too, stress them a bit and try to squeeze the most potency as you can out of them.

Just remember to take clones if you discover any freaks.

Good luck.

Peace.

There is no way of knowing what is going to come out of wild seeds unless you harvested them yourself . And the great majority if not all of the seeds nowardays , especialy the ones you can buy are from hybrids . If your seeds came from a wild group that havent been interfered with for a long time you probably have a better chance of getting good results from breeding them than if you buy seeds . If the seeds you have came from a group where most of the plants had about the same strength you are in luck , that means that they are prety pure and stabile . The best way to get and keep good quality plants is to breed them . If they are unstable hybrids you will have to work for about 7 to 10 years growing out doors selecting the best plants to breed before you have realy good , stabile plants in my experience . Where you live , and with your problems , i would not advise you to breed indoors , you need at least 5 rooms and loads of electricity . And making clones also means lights and loads of risk because you have to do it in someones house . So doing it out doors is your best bet .

I have posted you a PM telling you how to do it , but please keep it private as i want to use it in my comming PDF master piece .

GOD- These are mexican seeds, logical, as I am only about a good days drive from there...but these are special.
This weed reminds me of when I grew out some good Hemcy genetics back in the 90's here in katrina country.
This weed is 'almost' that good. A little more flavor, and just a little more 'green thumb' and I doubt that most folks could discriminate, or care to....I have long heard (legend, mostly) that down near central america, outdoor growers buy dutch seeds that are indica dominant and pull harvests year-round every three months. Central America is only about 15 degrees or so north of the equator, so this 'may' be true.
Anyway, thats the origin.
