Alrighty,

I was looking into Lucid dreaming last night again, since i recently ended my sleep deprivation experiment. I read part of some online book and watched a whole video series someone made on lucid dreaming. I just thought it was interesting, and am not sure if i was going to do the whole dream journal thing, maybe the method of just trying pushing your hand through an object a few times every day. Anyhow, i was tired, didnt want to start last night, so i just went to sleep. I remember reading that you wake up several times in the night (around 10 to 15) and you usually forget them.

Now when i woke up in the morning, i remembered the strangest thing. I remember having sleep paralysis really bad in the middle of the night, but i closed my eyes throughout the whole thing so I wouldn't see anything scary. I'm sitting in bed still recalling what happened in the middle of the night, slowly remembering more and more. I remember being so terrified after the sleep paralysis was over, i ran in my parents room and told them i had it again, but bad. My mother asked me if I wanted to go in the backyard, and yell at hell....wait a minute...what the...? Why would my mom say that? My mom is Christian, and she probably believes that there might be some relativity to sleep paralysis and the spiritual world of hers, but she would never say that. First of all i remember this being in the middle of the night, she wouldn't tell me to go outside and yell at the ground like some lunatic. I was pretty sure that i really did have sleep paralysis though because i remember the feeling of my heart, my breathing, and i remember i dunno, i felt like i do when i have sleep paralysis. But i am sure that the second part me getting up was a dream.

So as i put these stories together, i was kind of scared, confused. I have been having sleep paralysis Alot lately, probably the 5th time these couple of months. Now i decided to get some more sleep as it was still kind of dark out side [maybe 5 or 6 am?]. So i sit there trying to fall back asleep and aobut 5 minutes I am slipping into my sleep....sleep paralysis again. Close my eyes, im scared as hell. I dont remember too much what happened. After it was over, i was like 'this is getting annoying'. So i try to go to sleep, yet again in 5 minutes, sleep paralysis. I closed my eyes, scared again, but not so much as last time, more annoyed. It ended soon after and when i was out of it, i was thinking. I remember reading that people can turn sleep paralysis into like SUPER lucid dreams. I wondered if i tried to sleep, if i would have it again [it would have been the 3rd time that morning]. So i layed down, easily slipping into a half dream/awake state noticeably WAY quicker than usual. Sure enough, sleep paralysis. I try to focus on seeing something with my eyes closed. I couldnt see much but i didnt want to open my eyes because i knew i would see something scary like i usually do. I was just about to grow some balls and open my eyes when i felt something choking me and pressing on my chest [the first time i have felt those effects, usually i just feel paralyzed and tied up]. I could only imagine opening my eyes and seeing this evil thing sitting on my chest as seen in the famous painting. But...I slowly, cracked open my eyes...just so i could see a little. WOW. Everything was spinning clockwise. Its as if my head was in a dryer, and everything, my whole vision was literally turning. I could tell even though it was kind of dark because of my door being solid white colored and my walls looking black at night. I was amazed. I thought i was on some drug that i forgot i took the night before, but, i didnt.

I woke up from the paralysis and i was amazed. I was thinking 'WOW IM UP FOR ROUND 2!" and sure enough, it came again. Much Euphoria, bliss, as everything danced around. I noticed i could use my fingers in full control and i managed to wiggle my fingers down my pants just out of curiosity [im a male]. It honestly felt weird as if someone was touching me and i wasn't, but not in a good way, i felt like i was being molested by the creatures i would previously experience seeing. So i was like OK THATS ENOUGH OF THAT ITS FREAKING ME OUT so i moved my fingers out of my pants. Now i closed my eyes to find that the closed eye visuals were better than seeing everything turn clockwise (kind of got boring). So i wanted to experiment more. I tried moving my arms with no luck. But i tried harder and harder, and im not sure if this was out of body experience or i really did manage, but slowly my arms lifted off my bed and i was able to put my arms above my head as if showing someone my armpits kind of thing. It was cooling, but i found this kind of scary for some reason, so i put them back down.

I also discovered i could wiggle my toes and what not, but could not move my legs. Wait a minute, the closed eyed visuals are gone, is it over? No, i still couldnt move. OWWWWWWW. It felt like someone was cutting off a piece of skin off the side of one of my knees with a blade. I heard laughing and i felt evilness. For whatever reason, although they didnt feel too similar, the pain reminded me of when i put my hands in my pants only to feel this weird unpleasant prickly feeling. I experiencing the regular sleep paralysis now, stricken with fear. Then i got out of it when my sister turned on the light to wake me up for school. I wanted to tell her that i experienced the weirdest thing that whole morning but i didnt. I told her i wasnt going to school (i am still sick from my sleep deprivation experiment). So i decided to try to go have sleep paralysis again but in a different room, the living room, on a couch. By now it was bright outside, and i layed there with no luck!

But now that i look back, maybe I was dreaming about everything that happened that morning/night. what do you think?

If you are actually seeing things, you may be experiencing more than sleep paralysis... i.e. if you start seeing things during the day, be careful. This is really interesting though...

You concentrate very hard on sleeping - this does not allow you to sleep. In order to fall into a normal sleep you must recall things of the day, memories, think of things before or future, if your mind is in the present, you will have this sleep paralysis you get.

Next time this happens, or at some point I want you to try something. Try to be concious while you "fall asleep". I did this once while extremely high... it was kind of like you said, I hear laughing, and very odd. I couldn't move.

I started hearing conversations, I thought something was controlling me - paralyzed but being watched.

Justttt be careful buddy you seem like your having a head-spinning time.

during Sleep Paralysis, it is VERY common to see things. But no, i dont see things during the day. I know its sleep paralysis because it fits the description perfectly, before i knew what it even was, i was explaining very common things that happen to other people during it.

I dont concentrate hard on sleeping, it just seemed easy to slip in and out this morning, for some odd reason. I would just have to clear my mind for about 5 minutes it seemed and bam i was where i wanted to be. And with sleep paralysis, you dont really fall asleep conscious, you just wake up normally while part of your brain still thinks it should be paralyzed. It sounds like you had simple sleep paralysis as well.
