Hi, I have some questions...I don't know anything about vaporizers so don't laugh at me Here, comes my first one,maybe there will be others to come...

1. When I heat cannabis to 180 degrees, what I inhale is hot air flavoured with THC (amongst other things of course..). I can't see anything and the air I exhale doesn't smell like it. The effect then comes smooth. But when I heat up to 190 degrees, what I inhale is, I think, smoke (can it be?). This "smoke" also smells and kicks in quite fast. In both cases, the stuff gets darker.

my question: Is it smoke I inhale and should I therefore stick to 180 or is the fact that I don't see anything with 180 meaning that it's too low?

I forgot which type of vaporizer you have. Good convection vaporizers won't produce smoke, even at 220 degrees Celsius. The dense white mist, that possibly makes you cough, is all vapor.

thank God it's vapor. I have a Noble Vapor VP600.

Second question:

On my display, the temperature falls constantly. Is that normal?

Yes, ceramic heating elements aren't very stable. And I think the VP600 has an in-built fan as well? Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

180 is not hot enough , and i`ve never seen cannabis vapour other than a sort of shimmering in the air like you sometimes see outside when the air is hot . You cant taste it when you breath in but if you breath it out slowly over your tounge you can taste it . When you get used to it you can taste wheather its the first , second or third suck and also when the THC has gone . You will also notice that it changes colour as it loses THC . It goes a little yellow green brown . Then it tastes a bit synged and dry . Probably at first you will have to try smoking the rest just to make sure it realy is all used up so you know that you arent throwing something good away . I`ve never got more than three sucks from a load , but i used to get about 20 loads from a gram . = i used to powder it through a sieve and use only the amount that stuck on the end of my finger when i pressed my finger into the pile and turned my finger over fast .

gosh, does that mean my vape won't survive for long?

strange. 180 is the info you get most, what do you sugest? Dunno,maybe the hot air lets the stuff burn...?

I`ve never been able to find a reliable source of at what temperature THC vaporises , diferent sources gave diferent temperatures . On mine i always powdered it and used about 210 . After the third suck i threw the rest away .

I have no experience with the volcano or the one you are talking about so i cant realy coment on the way the vapour looks . I just know what smoke looks like and how it tastes . So do you , so you should be able to judge what your sucking in .
