Hullo,

I'm ~TC, and stumbled across this site through Erowid. I've only been lurking a little while, but I thought it time to introduce myself.

For a long time now, I've been interested in drugs - especially the commonly extroverted and introspective types, chemistry, botany, art and the religions of consciousness. I am a lowly forensics student hoping to graduate in to something worthwhile, such as pharmacology or neuroscience in the hopes that I might learn more about the functionality of the human brain and it's receptivity to specific compounds. Currently I'm growing Salvia D., Morning Glory and channa, but am looking in to other entheogens that I might be able to cultivate, like ibogaine, tobaccum rustica, caapi or perhaps some more obscure forms of tea. :3

I find it hard to stray from art for more than a few hours; I love most music (from black metal to psychill!) and enjoy reading just as much. Qabbalic and New Age literature are favourite genres of mine - McKenna and Neal Stephenson in particular pique my interest.

I hope to find like-minded and/or local people on this here forum, as from my brief time here I feel that you are a friendly and welcoming bunch! I'm sure that in time I will be able to share my experiences with you all, and that we might glean some philosophy from each other.

Regards,

Et Alia

Hello
Welcome to the forum. Stay around and you will love this place. Its great to see you on this forum.
What are you currently studying? (since you mentioned that you hope to graduate in pharmacology or neuroscience)
:)

Hi there,

Thanks for the welcome! I'm sure, given some more time, I certainly will.

I'm currently studying Forensics and Practical Chemistry, which has been good fun so far.

Welcome Et Alia.

Oh man, those are the toughest subjects in my dictionary. I always ran away from practical Chemistry while I was in my high school, quite a few years ago.
Forensics is something which I always had fascination for, but didn't have chance to study because I was into other subjects.
All the best for your endeavors though.
:P
