Me and some friends want to do some mushrooms but we're all unexperienced.
I've read some info and trip reports about the Philosopher's stones and it seems as if the trips are always good fun without any bad vibes. I really do want to avoid anyone having a bad trip...so my question is ; ARE the stones easier to experience whitout getting 'the fear' than the Psilocybe cubensis?

I don't think so. The reason you haven't found any bad trip reports is probably because stones are a bit less common. But I enjoyed them.

Often more experienced people use the Stones, hence less bad trips. Also the visual effect of the stones are less then those of other species (didn't do stones yet thought)

For a nice 1rst time with Shrooms, i'd go for the safe side and try 20gr fresh P. Cubensis or something. This gives a quite nice mental and visual exp. althought not overwhelming. Maybe smoke a joint to enhance the effects (instantly) if you feel the need.

It's not about how well you can handle the Shroom, but how well the shroom handles you. Be nice and respect it, then you'll have a blast!

Change your intention, and good and bad trips no longer matter :D

NO . Psilocybin is Psilocybin .

...as isl doesn't matter what you eat, effect is the same based on the Psilocybin ?

agree with god,

But species differ in psilocybin/psilocin ratio. Like hawaians would have more psilocin.
Out of trip reports i would think that stones have more psilocybin...

After all, psilocybin is converted to psilocin in the body, but psilocin kicks in faster and has slight shorter duration.

And of course the suggestive effect of taking a different species. :!:

But hey, placebo effect is also effect

So, it wouldn't matter which ones we eat as long as we treat them with respect and do them well prepared( sitter, surroundings, etc)? It's not like Colombians are more visual than Mexicans or anything like that? I really want to experience it but can't help but feeling somewhat scared...any tips for a first timer are always welcome!

Don’t hold onto your fear.
Let go of all definitions.
No resistance, because your only resisting yourself.

Peace, and have fun.
