Trips on TV or How I Learned to Stop Worrying & Love LSD

I'm sure there have been posts on the topic before, but I can never get over how psychedelics and other useful entheogens are portrayed as "troubling" and "deadly" and cause "automatic schizophrenia/insanity/killing people with magic lavender elephants". I think we have come a long way from Reefer Madness in some respects, but still it seems like a gimmick people use when looking for ratings or trying to demonize plants that would put the pharmaceutical industry out of business overnight.

That being said, feel free to post some different portrayals of movies/tv shows that show the two spectrums between absurd and accurate. I'll start with some that I have run across recently (or can think of from my past), and I'm sure I'll add more later. Enjoy:

True South Park may not be the best place to start. For whatever reason, only thing that kept popping into my mind.

It's really easy to just scapegoat drugs and blame them for all your problems.. that's what society does
