well, I am working on some music lately, and I want to use some samples.
I'm thinking of something like the samples which are used on the skelechairs album by venetian snares ("chairs made of human skeletons"), or the waking life samples in acid for nothing by 1200 micrograms. or the terence mckenna stuff which is used in any random psytrance thingy :)

the samples can be totally senseless and funny or just trippy etc.
anything :D

so, could you give me any recommendations and maybe a link where I could get that sample? thank you very much in advance :)

I was looking for such samples for quite some time now, but it is really frustrating. seems like I'll have to record some TV on the computer and cut some samples out of this stuff xD

Rocky Horror Picture show ;)
(on youtube probably)

Wouldn't know an exact sample, but there's a lot of good ones in it :)

got the first one, thank you :D

"it seems so unhealthy here" "it's just a party jannet"
I don't like musicals, but this is the stuff I've been looking for :P

Hehe, thought so ;)
I'm not a big fan of musicals either, but the Rocky Horror Picture Show is so funny

Damn, there goes my secret hoard of soundstash.. :|
Ah well, I'm too lazy to do something with it myself, I'm glad you like it

I do these kinds of fieldrecordings myself, much more original then picking sounds from a site ;)

Although very handy for people without a recording unit.

BTW there's this massive sound exchange project, people from all over the world can contribute or download various sounds: Freesound Project

field recording sounds interesting :)

what device are you using? and what are you recording? :P

Edirol R-09 (don't have a mic and preamp yet)

Everything
