since the shutdown of demonoid, i have been searching for an alternate bittorrent tracker. perhaps you know a closed torrent comunity, only by invites or something like that ?
public trackers are full of viruses, trojan horses, and other not-so-good things. any comments would be welcomed!

Try isohunt.com

torrents.to
you can search through most of the tracker-sites.

i always use thepiratebay

mininova.org isn't too bad either ;)

filelist.org
still try to register..(they have a user registration limit daily)

or
filemp3.org (the best for electronic, psychedelic stuff)

thank you all for your kind replies. zamunda is quite nice, it has a small collection of e-books (which i love) and it is closed, which is even better. i have nothing against public trackers, but they are full of virus and leechers. almost no one seeds and although they have many torrents, few of them actually work. with closed communities, there is not this problem, so i advise you to try one. once you see the speeds and all the torrents working 100%, you won't be turning back :)
aradi tracker is also very nice.
the thing is...you have to share or you will be tossed out of the community.

Sharing is the whole idea about torrents, if you don't want to share, use a newsgroup ! Fast from beginning till end and you don't have to share.

Shouldn't we close topics like these?
I don't know if topics like these can get a forum into trouble, but a lot of forums don't want topics like these, so i think they have a good reason for it?

Mininova.org works fine, but torrentz.com is better.
