Well, I'm not a very experienced Ground Control (or sitter, as you prefer), but I'll have to do with first timers guys on shrooms that ask me to help them in this sense.

So... have you got any tips?
Things to do, not to do, or also: there's already a topic about it?
I couldn't fint it anywhere.

Thanks for your help :D

You don't have to do anything unless someone is having trouble. If that's the case, you can help him or her out by comforting, taking his mind of something, get him something to drink/eat/etc.

Don't mindfuck people, that's just cruel.

People will entertain themselves, no need to do that.

Read a good book, tell people that you are there for them if they need you.

If they want you to do something, and it is reasonable, do it, even if you don't like it (you may be asked to leave, for example, because they think you are out of tune with them) if so, tell them where you will be (the next room, outside, etc.).

MAPS has a good video to watch.

When I sat for trips, I was nice, you essentially hold those peoples minds in your hands if its their first time and a typically strong dose.

Comforting, and warm. If people say something, respond quickly and warmly - don't ever question them.

If someone starts going towards negative trip tell them they are safe, and nothing bad will happen.

If they start talking about things they are thinking about, agree, and respond quickly and re-assuringly.

I <3 trip sitting, it is one of my favorite things to do.

i dont have any experience sitting in on a trip but i have some advice from the perspective of taking trips and knowing what i dont like ppl 2 do

dont ask them many questions unless they want you to, dont ask "whats wrong" unless theres something very obviously wrong because when im tripping that almost always happens and it makes me think "somethings wrong...?" then i start thinking of everything that could be wrong and its just bad
and dont laugh hysterically at them or even with them unless u cant help it
i hate it when ppl that arnt tripping are laughing because i get really paranoid, but maybe thats just me

Stay calm and if anything needs to be done change the set and setting = go for a walk or show the person something else . Something like warm water is mostly very interesting . Turn the music off , down or on .

Crimzen a dit:
