White Rabbit

That's a concert I'd like having been to!!!

I thought i was the only one here who would know and remember the 13th floor elevators . I dont think that they were the first psychedelic band though .

i love 13th floor elevetors the first real psychdelic group (with the electric jug) for me.

Clever dick . What was said could be taken two ways . That they were the first psychedelic band that legrandoudini had heard or that as far as legrandoudini is concerned they were the first psychedelic band .

brainticket.. :D

Very true GOD. This one is by a British Band...

This is in 3 parts since the song is too long for a single you tube video (roughly 20 minutes in total) and is more considered to be 'Space Rock' than psychedelia...

UFO - Star Storm (part 1)
UFO - Star Storm (part 2)
UFO - Star Storm (part 3)

I'll try to get some of the Stones and Beatles stuff posted, if it is still on You Tube that is...

I`m sure i can also remember somethings by The Who , The Kinks and Hawkwind but my eyes are so bad i cant read the titles on the tapes .

The Rolling Stones - 2000 Light Years From Home

I can definitely find much Hawkwind to post GOD...one of my faves. I know all 4 of the 'Invasion Bands' had a psychedelic period in each of their evolutions. Also 10 Years After did some good stuff. Then there were bands like Van Der Graff Generator, Curved Air, and much of the 'Progressive Rock' scene of the early 70's which was VERY psychedelic.
