Just wondered who else can relate..

Sometimes when I used to be quite high on cannabis, 2cb or acid (low dose). I just took my bicycle and got wraped up in pretty much and busy traffic, or when I was high and crossed the road in Amsterdam etc. I noticed that it particulary wasn't more dangerous as when being sober.

Despite the fact that I usually felt dreamy and radiated absence for others, it was like I could calculate the line through the traffic very well and even could estimate better or there was enough distance to sneak through in a split second.

Later on such nights, I came home and realised what the fuck I had done, haha. Then it felt like I didn't really do it myself (well I did, duh! but not the sober I) but more like my deeper fields of consciousness who took care of my descisions that were primairly based on keeping my safety.

I know what you mean I think, I think that once you have done something for so long/so many times, you get a routine. Quite hard to explain, but I know what you mean, happens to me at least a few times a day. :P

I know what you mean, I get it too, specially but not exclusively while high. There's a feeling of being very good with movements, more swift and agile :)

Could it be that being in this bit of "vipashyana mode" and getting insight about our surroundings as well as more events being registered, like the feeling of slowing time or the state of contemplation (staring at insects :) ), could truly make us more graceful, in a heightened awareness kind of fashion?

 :!:

Haha, yeah. :D

Also, when I have lost my keys or bank pass at home I suddenly remember exactly the moment before I lost it.

For me, taking a trip deactivates my auto pilot to some degree, then I can see how it operates, and adjust settings if I wish.

I used to be pretty good at playing NFS3 and Star Wars racer back in the days when I smoked tons of weed - I guess the auto-pilot must have helped ;)

Or maybe you just didn't noticed that you were actually acting pretty dangerous.
Or you're just automatically acting more safer, because you have in mind that you're under influence.

Nice explanation!
