I've talked to my girly about doing DMT, I told her I did it and explained it. She seemed interested but not negatively or positively. Just a kind of neutral on the subject. Never brought it up again.

I wanted to talk to my roomates about it too, but it really just seems wrong for some reason.

I need to talk to my girlfriend again about it soon, just so we're on the same page.

What I'm getting at here is how and when do you guys bring up usage to people? I find it very easy at times, but initiating the conversation is really hard to get it at the exact moment.

I guess I got to just do it myself, but any personal experience would be good. I don't think anyone will frown about it, but I just want to make it as positive an experience as possible - the talk, I mean.

What do you plan to achieve by introducing psychoactive compounds into thier lives?

There is an old saying about LSD that goes like this... "You do not find LSD, It finds you..."
I suppose the above statement can be applied to any form of psychoactive substance.

If I was you, I would not try to initiate any conversation about it. Just be around for your friends when they become inquisitive by thier own nature. If you do share experiences be sure to think about what you tell your friends about your experience, A person that I got some mescaline off a few years ago had a large supply of DMT and was happy to let you have but would not touch it himself becuase one of his friends had began to become convinced that reality we are in now is not reality.
Also, Another thing that he said put him off was that when taken on a regular basis DMT makes muscles develop in your face that dont usually develop. I have never found any thing more then "The tryptamines can apparently trigger a kind of rippling of facial muscles, which results in the production of a vocally modulated pressure wave." which may account for the extra muscle formation but I cant be 100% on that but the whole no longer believeing that the reality we live in is reality is fairly common from extensive use I do believe.

So I leave you with the old saying, "Be carefull what you wish for...."

I have to say I gotta agree with Sticki. The fact of the matter is, if your usage is enough for you, you shouldn't care about adding others to the circle. If it's about expanding into something more taboo, but rather trying to share the experience, than it should be something they bring up. There's a point at which anyone you're with will eventually know enough about you to ask "Hey, I notice you do DMT a lot, is it for me" or something like that. I would say if they don't bring it up, don't bring it up.

Well, since it may be in close proximity I wanted to be open about it, and kind of let them know, rather then them finding out.

Alot of things dealing with DMT look very scary - the pipe, the extraction, the crystals themselves. Not that I'd be dealing with any of that, but it can show a wrong message like meth and what not.

Sticki, that muscle thing sounds like propoganda. And yeah, I can completely empathize with the guy who thinks this isn't reality. Cause it ain't

When you smoke DMT you see visions sometimes that explain to you that life is like a game. Everything is superficial. It's very powerful. All it is though is looking at the mind's ability to form ideas from the abstract. The idea of "cool" is a good example. When you smoke DMT, there is no "cool" anymore. If everyone in the world smoked DMT for a few days straight, I doubt many people would feel the need for clothes.

It's a beautiful thing, but to weild it's abilities is a great weight. It's not something to get high off of. It's something to consider how we perceive.

I'll just speak when the time is right. . .

I would not call the information on unusual muscle growth propaganda and to right it off so easily makes me percieve your approach as narrow minded. I will research my statement on the unusual muscle growth and discuss my findings further.

Also, the trouble with saying "This is not reality..." is that you now stand in a world of complexity to explain yourself.
The truth is, Regardless of where you take yourself in hyper space you also and undeniabley exist in Majority in the physical world, Yes that place we all return to, that place most people consider reality .

Now its great to understand that all human life is able to access higher realms and dimensions within ourselves through psychoactive substances and meditation but you must understand first off. You chose to be where you are, You have fought to obtain the knowledge you have and the path of the Psychonaut can often feel lonely but If others are not of the same mind set, which is possibly the case if they are not overly interested at 20 roughly. Then it is possible your walks of life will never really intertwine and forcing such an event may be catastrophic.

whoa man, thanks for caring but I think you're assuming too much about me and my naivity. And to call me closed minded on such a thing is a bit premature... I've been told since I was little that acid eats holes in your brain, makes your spinal cord melt, and mushrooms burn your brain.

researching your muscular facial theory:
The tryptamines can apparently trigger a kind of rippling of facial muscles, which results in the production of a vocally modulated pressure wave. What is more startling is that the sound, which gains in energy the longer it is sustained, can actually become visible—as if the vibrational wave patterns were shifting into the visible spectrum or inducing a vibrational excitation of the air in such a way as to affect light diffraction. These observations suggest that although the wave is produced with sound, it may possess an electromagnetic component.

Solid science there, lol.

Have you ever done DMT? If not, I would advise waiting for an experience before lecturing - says me

The perception that "this is not reality" is hard to become accustomed to. I've experienced it with all psychodelic journeys. It's very confronting, but very enlightening. You can choose to play the game or stay above. I choose to play the game. Which just means I choose to enjoy whats been given.

Take your clothes off!

The stuff you were brought up on is clearly propaganda but it doesnt mean everything is and I called your approach perceivable as narrow minded and again you jump the gun. I never called any of the information I presented scientific on the muscular growth and I stated in my last post that I would research it further and then discuss my findings.

Also, I have done DMT. Of course I have, Or I wouldnt even dare get into this debate with you. To be honest tho my response is based on care alone. All I wish is that people think through thier actions completely to ensure the safety of themselves and more so others. You obviously felt a need to discuss it and all I did was give you some sound advise, I didnt even indicate that I even thought you were using the DMT in any way (Positive or Negative). I am in no position to comment on how you choose to use any substance. All I care about is the image of those who use psychoactive substances and also the safety of those who do not use and those who certainly should not use psychoactive substances.

On the reality note, Its well and good to call your understanding of the nature of energy coupled with your "Play the game" take on life a grasp of the "True Reality" but you cannot escape the fact that you are anchored in this realm or dimesnion of reality. I dont suggest this is the "True Reality" but it is the reality we are subject to untill we sleep, die or have an astral experience and I doubt we reside in this place for nothing. All I suggest is this line is drawn clearly for people to avoid some identity issues that may arise in some people.

Lastly, Why do you refer to - Take your clothes off?

Sorry, my reply was defensive. I thought you were in some way insuinuating that I shouldn't take DMT, due to lack of knowledge or something... you didn't deserve that, and thanks for caring.

Take your clothes off was a way of saying this reality has some funky things about it. I never understood why we wore clothes on hot days. Still doesn't make sense to me. . . But I'm conditioned enough to wear them anyways.

I just got into some very bad legal trouble and won't be back on the board . Good luck all. :) I hope everything goes well from here on out for all of you. Try and find me in costa rica in a few years or so.

Your apology is recognised but not needed :)

I think the wearing of clothes symbolises the recognition of imperfection to some degree and some new testament christian religous text makes a hint at the understanding that the body is not imperfect and that we are as innocent as children is a key to the kingdom of heaven. The world is definitely a weird and funky place tho

I hope the last bit of your post is a joke and that you plan on comming back and what ever trouble your in is not as bad as you think.
