sweat lodge

are there psychonauts out there who have experience with sweat lodge ceremony's?
And if so how was it like. Did it do anything for you. :?:

I would like to know, because I may be interested in participating in a ceremony one day

I've done it once. It was pretty damn hot. It was hard at times because I felt like I was choking in a sauna with too many people.

At the same time it was very interesting. There was definitely some mind altering aspect to it. Not really comparable to a trip (maybe, just maybe, similar to a very low dose of mescaline).

I think with experience it will be more intense, I was distracted by my own fears and physical discomfort too much to really evaluate it properly.
