Why not walk infront of cars ? Why take care ? When you have something to do with dying people , or watch your own kid being born , or being hurt or dying you will understand .

Ignorance is bliss ? Life is not just about fun , hedonism and decadence . If you dont value something and take care of it you loose it . Then you cant have fun with it .

I don't think the Value of life is related to how seriously you take it - in that vein, some people are able get more value while worrying less about how serious to take it.

To take all of life serious to me means that you would live a serious life. That is great except there is few serious things that bring enjoyment - I might live to old age but I wouldn't have 80 years of enjoyment.
Like children. I could have kids and raise them seriously, push them hard, treat it like I was Atlas holding up the sky and the slightest misstep would crush everyone. Or I could loosen up and show them how life could be enjoyed.

Taking life seriously, as in it has a value that needs a shitload of worry and responsibility?

I am not particularly fond of the word "seriousness", it smells adultocentric and attachment diseased.
I think if you have seen boundless light it is God himself who takes care of your body, as Gandhi said. And living without culturally charged seriousness doesn't stop you from loving intensively and with great compassion.
Your own life and its value is brought forth to meet nothingness, the emptiness of this huge black hole rhythm of the cosmos.
There is a cataclismic silence permeating the self hood of the splendor, and by its virtue is the universe brought wrath into existence, conveyed its motion and eternal mystery of glorious nocturne black reptile with liquid sun eyes of none.
