Not a fan of Steve.

There are many things he could have done with his potential, and he gave us as his legacy.....the eyephone

Not impressed, he could have done that without any acid.

THEN he kept it a secret, basically, like they all do when a psychedelic benefits them, content to allow ignorance and persecution-oriented stereotypes to prevail in public perception, aided and abetted by his silence. Maybe if he advocated them freely and openly WHILE HE WAS ALIVE, he could have offered us something to believe in, and not a throwawy trinket which symbolizes everything wrong with this culture.

What this movement needs are people who are successful to step the fuck UP while they are alive and benefitting.

Not hiding in a closet like a child in the dark.

Dammit

hear hear.

I think he was a briliant man that used his mind mostly for his own enrichment. Things like reversing charity programs at apple, creating lock in technologies that force consumers and producers to connect through iStore setups taking money from both, making it hard for people to change things in the operating system of all of their devices if they want to tweak it. It is all very business oriented under the cover of 'express your creativity and individuality by doing the same as everyone else'.

to each his own- but he was far from a hippie or a help in the advocacy of psychedelics

you say that-

"I think he was a briliant man that used his mind mostly for his own enrichment"

so you are really saying he was smart, greedy and selfish (were we talking about an orangutan or steve jobs?).....labeling it 'business' does not mean he gets a free pass

I am taking objection here to labeling someone a 'hippie' because they took acid, or inferring that they performed a service to humanity because they did

He was just like all the rest of them, and should be remembered as such

spent all that time heaping up treasure only to leave it to someone else, haha!!! what's with the big p.r. campaign? is that corporate self aggradizement?
see corporations are people after all..
yeah, suck on that.
