Okay so I finally decided to just grow this spring.. I'm following the first rule pretty well, haven't told anyone. I just have a few basic questions and I'll hit this thread up if I have any more. Basically, I had this baggie full of these seeds I've been stocking up on. Alright weed, actually the weed sucked, but I am sure if I do this right those little seeds will grow some decent bud. I'm only looking for mid plants, nothing insane. I could probably do more research on google, but its better just asking these questions directly then elaborating later.

1) So I pluck the males right away, how do I know if they are males at first? Just the flower on top is female and no flower = pick?
2) How much weed approximately will one plant get me? There is so much varying info on that.. How much roughly? If I do a decent outdoor grow.
3) I have to do this completely weirdly. I'm not 18, can't get any seeds offline. Can't always run up to the store and buy whatever so what ways are there to fertilize it without buying anything?
4) How many plants should I grow? The spot where I am doing it at is completely discrete and is covered by bushes and bushes of morning glories in the middle of the forest. The actual spot is this plateau on the top of this ~12 ft cliff that you either have to climb a tree or walk your way up the cliff. So I'm not worried about anyone finding it. Also will people be able to smell it?
5) Are there any other plants I can grow around it to help with its health, or possible vitamin deficiencies?

6) How do I get these plants started and resist shock? I don't have a sprout box, but I did see something on plastic cups please someone help me with this definitely. I need to get this started!

Anyways those are all my questions for now. Sorry if any of its stupid sounding, but I'm a beginner please help!

"actually the weed sucked, but I am sure if I do this right those little seeds will grow some decent bud"

What makes you sure? Gregor Mendel begs to differ. (Gregor Mendel is taught in sixth grade. Surely(?) this is knowledge you can access).

"1) So I pluck the males right away, how do I know if they are males at first? Just the flower on top is female and no flower = pick?"

Jesus. The males have balls.

2) How much weed approximately will one plant get me? There is so much varying info on that.. How much roughly? If I do a decent outdoor grow.

approximately....roughly....'decent'

It is strain and skill dependent. Skill is based on repetitive application of knowledge, aka 'experience'

3) I have to do this completely weirdly. I'm not 18, can't get any seeds offline. Can't always run up to the store and buy whatever so what ways are there to fertilize it without buying anything

shit

smell is genetic. your main worry should be sun exposure

Are there any other plants I can grow around it to help with its health, or possible vitamin deficiencies?

no, they like to be isolated

6) How do I get these plants started and resist shock? I don't have a sprout box, but I did see something on plastic cups please someone help me with this definitely. I need to get this started!

Typically that depends on your latitude. In the soouth by mid may is too late, the heat will kill them unless you start them inside and harden them off.

you don't know if they are males at first, they do not reveal this until they are around 6-7 weeks old if they are seed plants....you completely eradicate them when you are sure.

I have seen plants that yield 10 grams and we've grown sativas in Texas in the 80's that yielded 5-7 lbs a piece.

Ask yourself what nature does to fertilize plants, youngster.......nature biodegrades leaf matter and other deads stuff into what is called 'compost'......you should have begun making compost before you decided to grow if you knew you weren't going to be able to source ferts......compost can be made out of grass clippings, poop, food scraps, etc.......do some research.

you will be surprised at the knack people have for finding hidden, 'inaccessible' spots.....outdoor sucks for that reason.

99 times out of a hundred, smell isnt what tips a person off to the prescence of clandestine plants. Can you guess what is?

(answer: the trail you make going to do maintenance regularly. Use different ways to get there)

Any other plants grown nearby either compete for food or water or space.

Listen, you should read BOOKS
