Ok so i just had the most amazing star gazing session ever. i saw 3 shooting stars within afew mins and RIGHT as i looked at this one star..... IT FLASHED AND WENT OUT :O. im just in fucking awe right now.

felt like sharing.

gave a great day/night :)

Have you ever seen a satellite with your naked eye going across the sky? It's pretty fuggin' sweet.

sounds cool. i heard some stars we see in the night sky might already be dead, regarding the vast amount of time that already may have passed while the light travels millions and millions of lightyears in some cases before it arrives here on earth, so we can see it.

noo but that deffinatly does sound cool as hell.

and ya ive heard that too braineater, thats just so hard to grasp mentally. i mean, try to picture how far away that is..... i know i cant.

like the video i think i saw on here where they compair the plant earth to the size of the other larger planets/stars that we know abuot. that alone is hard to grasp, let alone the distance in between them that can only be measured with time. thats so mental.

ill never forget this amazing mushroom trip i had, i was swimming in a stream and going underwater and doing summersaults with my eyes closed, and it was litterally like flying light speed through space, i could feel how fast i was going, yet everything arounf me was moving so slow, thats when i realized how immensely vast outer space is. getting a veiw of how slow even the speed of light is out there really mind fucks you when you try to picture exactly HOW big it is.

Space, until you can prove otherwise, is infinite.

strange, that same thing happened to me a little over a month ago. i thought my eyes were messed up for a second, but i definitely watched the star die. meteor showers are where it's at 8)

Hey trick does this interest you.
I guess any telescope with a (connection) can benifit from cdd. cdd can store and enhance what you see. i think it can magnify and clear up images.

I don't look up much but the american flag on the moon does interest me.
my old school friend believed people had never bounced on the moon.

Whats cdd??

I was sitting under the stars with my girlfriend the other night, and I will boast how fucking lucky I am at shooting stars, I am counting well over 100 in my life time... I guess I just stare up alot.

Saw about 7 shooting stars that night, about 6 satellites... My dad once said when we were camping that he saw a nova too, maybe that is what you saw Trick? THAT. is rare.

Magical experience. That means you got blasted by a bit of gamma.

I don't know where you are, but the other night I was tripping shrooms and saw TWO shooting stars over Missouri. It was AWESOME! Totally a spiritually moving moment. w00t.

it was just yesterday that I had to go to the city :( there were no clouds but you just don't see any stars in this sea of artificial light. otherwise I'd be mostly on (in? at?) the countryside..
but well, that wasn't the last chance to see something like this.

I'm planning on taking a trip into the cactus realm at a mountain lake, where this picture was taken, good times :)
a friend of mine took a picture as well, and a program counted ~17000 stars. it was in that night that I saw a big fat green shooting star, my chest reacted instantly with a warm inner breeze :D

oh man! i've never seen a green one before, but i have seen ONE in specific that looked like it could do some serious damage. it was like a ball of fire that was larger than any star in the sky, and the tail on it was several inches long from my view. it must have been a comet or something because it was massive, almost scary
