Along the same lines as the elf thread, if you've seen them, particularly on ayahuasca, details please.
I've only had caapi as yet, taken with cactus as an experiment. I don't think I'd bother again with this combo but it was all I had and it did enable some visuals.
What was remarkable was that it was just a light head trip but as soon as I put on some evocative, snakey music the caapi reared its head straight away. I became aware of a coiling sensation around my body, almost like a wind and when I closed my eyes there was a dark vision of a brightly coloured boa winding its way towards me, head on. Unfortunately I then slightly voided myself  and had to get cleaned up and the headspace was lost.
I was reminded of another light trip I had once when I couldn't settle, the environment wasn't great being in the middle of a city but I stumbled into a quiet bar, got a beer and sat out the back. Over the stereo system they started playing trip-hop, Portishead and it was only then that everything came together. The music enabled me to tune in better and everything was great from then on.
So that's my tip anyway. If you want to see snakes on aya, try listening to snake charmer music, it certainly worked for me.
Wish there was some shroomy, elfin music!
