Dear all,
Recently I have been involved in a project in Iquitos, Peru, called Sacharuna, an educational and research project dedicated to the exploration of human consciousness and medicinal plants found in South America’s rain forests.
Our concentration and exploration are focused foremost on the properties of the Ayahuasca brew consisting of Banisteriopsis Caapi and Psychotria Viridis plants with the purpose to heal people that suffer from all kind of illnesses, especially the most difficult ones our world is facing today.
We do study traditional medicine ourselves, observing the world, organising or help organising events in Holland (or other countries) related to the subject (foremost ayahuasca ceremonies), but now also scheduling programms in the Amazon, in cooperation with true, and recognized curanderos/ayahuasceros.
During my last period here in Holland I have noticed that there is much interest from the people to go to the amazon rainforest, follow a diet (with different plants), and learn on a deeper level the science of the plants themselves, but do not not always know where to begin.
For this reason I wanted to let know by this e-mail that Sacharuna offers a programm of 1 month in July, in the jungle around Iquitos, Peru. Below I have copied the announcement for those who are interested. If you want, please forward it to whoever may be interested.
What I personally hope and want to work for is that traditional medicine get it's place in the world, that this spiritual science from the Amazon gets recognition worldwide which still is not always the case.
