scroogle is your friend (maybe)

As we all (hopefully) know Google is in the business of collectiong as much info on its users as possible. Scroogle is a proxy that strips all your personal info so it is not collected by Google. You can search directly from the site and they also offer firefox plugins (as well as for Opera and internet exploder- see scroogles main pg)

I can not guarantee that scroogle is trustworthy themselves aranoid: but they seem like a very good alternative IMHO
