Science Question: could shrooms reduce bovine gas emission?

I know a fruiting mycelium produces CO2, but what about the total amount of gas emitted by an inocculated cow pie versus a normal one? Could massive distribution of spores help reduce the greenhouse effect? Or would it only make matters worse?

Any scientist, or biology/chemistry student, here who could answer this question?

the only thing I know is that the gas I produce after a mushroom trip is surely full of greenhouse effect dirty molecules.
