I think I'll give that a go, hopefully it's contageous. One thing I remember about the time I spent in California was the friendliness of passing strangers saying Hi!!! Pretty weird at first coming from England where people routinely ingore each other in passing, but I soon became accustomed to their ways and joined in myself. Maybe it was the sunshine, but it felt nice that two strangers could pass and make each other smile with one syllable.

idk about cali.. but florda comapaired to the uk is where the unhappy people are..

you dont even make eye contact in florda, but here ive had numerous conversations with strangers.

keep in mind im not in the city though... thats much diffrent. lol
