when i make hash i roll the polem in celophane from cigarette or tobaco packs, tie with tape, roll in damp paper, stick in the oven till good and warm then roll w a rolling pin or bottle. then you bung it in the fridge. i use a plastic coffee filter to separate the glands from the trim first. its a hastle but once you get a technique its worth it. just rub the trim around inside the filter, giving it a good tap from time to time. you can make different grades 00- chipboard if you want. theres nothing like 00 made from northern lights or PPP. your left w dust you can get oil from about 3-5% so no waste

ITs good to see people are helping themselves .
What we are all talking about is NOT hash , its pressed kiff . Silk screnes and nylons are good , just dont press things through them = you get quality not quantity . If the mesh is to big ...... fold it . You can get a filter bag from a wine making shop VERY cheeply . Or the coffee filters Drugless 146 was talking about ...... but they are a bit small . Silk screens are better ...... IF..... you get the right ONES . Remember the hash particle size from different plants can differ . So there is no one filter to use for ever . To make good hash the buds are put unbroken on a screen wich gets flicked with a finger gently a few times and then the grass is gently removed for later for a second quality = the worse the quality the more you push it through the sieve . If its good hash you can press it with your fingers wich is the best way of making it . Making presses is easy you just need a vice , or wood clamps and a tube with two stoppers , or a car jack or if you have real bad shit a lorry press . The shoe method is also very good and as Drugless 146 said celophane is your friend ..... take care its real and not any sort of plastic or you will be fucked . If you grind your grass you will get the absolute bottom quality of "hash" ........... but funily (?) enough its still better than the "council green and brown" that Drugless 146 was talking about . If we do those agressive things = bad quality and then wash it we have much better quality . BUT DONT WASH GOOD POWDER OR YOU WILL FUCK IT .
First quality can be pressed with the hand . Second quality needs pressing and heat . Third quality , = the rest , has to be pressed with water and heat . When i said i used to make up to 30 gramms from a hundred gramms of bud leaves i ment three qualitys with the last one being washed .
I went to Ketama in 1982 and was taught to make hash by Berbers . After that i used to be a freelance hash maker = customers gave me grass and i got half of the hash i made . In 1994 i started giving cources for money in hash making and hash washing . So if you want to know something about hash please ask .

I have experimented with different grinders . The white bits you are talking about is not hash . Its the product of brute force . Its a mixture of the trichomes and wax out of the leaves . If you get yourself a 15X microscope you will see better whats going on . The white thread like things are the trichomes , the white lumps are wax ( At least thats my theory ) and the very small opaque honey to rust red coloured bits are the hash . To make good hash you have to be very sensative and not break and harvest trichomes as the taste shitty and dont do anything .

Different strains of grass have different particle sizes . I used to have 4 screens that i used , i can have a look in my catalog if you need to know sizes , just ask . There is a book called "Hashish" by Robert Connell Clarke wich explains the basics . If you ignore all the American master race shit the rest is a good starting point . There is also a film called..... "Hashish" wich is also OK but you have to watch it and listen hard 2 or 3 times to suss the usefull bits .
I pressed everything that i used myself . Pressing hash with your hands , IF you can do it properly is definately MUCH better than sieved hash .
1st = hand pressed
2nd = pressed with water + press

Bubble "hash" is the lowest form of washed "Hash" . Its easyer , cheaper and you can make better qualitys by sieving it properly and only washing the bad bits . As i said water doesnt help good hash it fucks it . Try it and see ???

I personaly have never smoked good indoor grass , some of it was nice but not good , maybe it is good for people who havent had the privelige of smoking real grass from outdoors . If you want to see the difference between normal Dutch indoor grass and the stuff that some Dutch growers smoke go to the cannabis cups = hightimes or highlife if its still going . On the first few days shops like the green house often sell the judges much better grass than they normaly sell . How do i know that ? Because i had the feeling that that was the case so i bought two bags of everything and took them home and tested them over weeks with friends . We found out that on the first few days the quality is often better and after that they sell things that look and smell the same but are weaker . Why ? Because who can judge the quality of something if he has been smoking diferent sorts all day for three days . + NO ONE SELLS THEIR BEST QUALITYS THEY SMOKE IT THEMSELVES . There is a general rule for dealers = when hash is made there are three qualitys so you have to sell the crap so you can smoke the better stuff . And if you buy crap you will always only get offered crap . If you are lucky enough to know bigger dealers you will see that the higher in the chain you go the better the quality that is available .

Î`d love to go to Humboldt but they wont let me in as i have a prison record for drugs . You are a lucky bugger living there at the source . Most of the grass that is in Holland originated there , oregon and seatle . I think that you should have a good chance of getting better grass than in Holland . The Dutch got a bad reputation for growing tastless tomatoes and cardboard letuice . The same thing happened with a lot of grass , it was grown in green houses by market gardners that didnt smoke it and they crossed the big fat ones with those that stunk perverse = the quality has been lost . The strongest plant in Holland is still the Californian haze , allthough its imposible for normal mortals to go there and buy geneticaly clean haze . Most , if not all the plants that are sold there are hybrids so you cant breed them sensibly . Another thing that fucked the grass in Holland was an endless stream of Americans buying sensi seeds , growing the plants and selling the seeds they produced as new strains . Or just crossing stupid things with other stupid things and calling it their own strain . So enjoy it where you are...... and breed strong with strong and get rid of the smell the pigs love so much . = one of the main reasons people get busted growing grass is the perverse stink . Luckily the Canadians and the Swiss didnt make the same mistake . If anyone knows where one could get seeds or clones from any plants that dont stink , or things like garlic grass please let me know . Garlic grass stinks like garlic , i dont know if its geneticaly determined or if they just put garlic in the water they gave / give the plants .
