When your computer goes into screensaver mode it connects with other computers on the net that are in screensaver mode and renders some pretty incredible fractal animation.. the idea is "computers dreaming together". If you download it I highly recommend grabbing a starter pack of animations to get you going. (also there are demo movies and screenshots)

It's bit torrent. Users create the short animations that connect one to the other. Computers network via bit torrent to share them. Eventually after enough time you will have the entire video.. takes a while as it isn't linear either but has multiple paths through it. I've got about 1/2 of it now i think and it is still quite watchable. Sorry, no android conspiracy to take over the world. :lol:

Oh, you download the visuals via Bittorent?
I thought that you needed to download the visuals and if you install them, your computer connects to other computers to make visuals (and that isn't very secure).

Yeah, there's an option in the screen saver settings to enable downloading via bit torrent, or you can turn it off if you don't want to be using bandwidth.. and just download the videos separately (there are archives).

There's a few sample vids too that give you an idea of what it looks like, if you don't want to bother with the screensaver..
