question about anti depressant mixed with lsd and mushrooms

i am wondering if anyone here is being treated with anti depressants and tried lsd and mushrooms while normally treated with the anti depressants

i heard all sorts of thing about the mix

some say it changes nothing and some say that is weakens lsd

if anyone has experience please share what kind of anti depressant are you on and how was the effects of lsd and mushrooms on it

One shouldnt mix medicines with psychoactive drugs and anyone who thinks they can advise one to do so is a dangerous sharlatan . First a person should get well and then , if they want to , try psychoactive substances .

It seems to me that a lot of people with issues and people who take anti depresants abuse drugs and cause themselves even more problems . A person who has issues and / or depression has a problem with seeing the world / their lives as they are and shouldnt be decideing to do things like that through such clouded perceptions . They shouldnt trust their judgement to do things like that but often they do and become even more ill and become their own worst enemys . And give the whole scene a BAD name .

i agree thank god that the only reason i will be taking anti depressants is for OCD not depression or mood swings or any other serious issue

i agree that people with personality disorders or mood disorders should not touch these substances. but their is no issue mixing LSD or mushrooms with a person suffering from OCD and im only asking my question regarding LSD and mushrooms

i doubt that mixing LSD with my soon to be anti depressant will cause a sudden uprise in my OCD (cosiduring that lsd and mushrooms help with OCD)

i have heard of people who have bad depression or bi polar mood disorder and are on medication such as Lithium(mood stabalizer) or/and anti depressant and they mixed it with LSD or mushrooms and it cause a bad effect on their conditions

and from others i heard that if you are on anti depressants and you take Lsd then the lsd will simply be weaker then usual

all i want to know is if anyone has tried this ALLREADY on themselves and what happen and what specific medication are they on

I understand now why you are asking .....but .....they are them and you are you so their experiences might not be aplicable to your situation .

i would still like to know from a somewhat credible source if the scattered info i found online about the fact that anti depressants make LSD and mushrooms weaker is true or not

and it would be nice to get an answer from someone who tried

it would be a bad move to mix ssri's with psychedelics, in my opinion

i mean really if you want to take a journey just stop taking the ssri's a full 3-4 weeks before ingesting the psychedelic. but im not a doctor, maybe you shouldnt just abruptly stop taking your ssri's.

either way, i thinking mixing pharms is never a good idea. whether or not i do shit like that all the time, its all pretty stupid, and all pretty harmful to your liver/other important things you need to live

but classic psychedelics - harmless - in my opinion

i have friend on citalopram (ssri) and he has to take a lot of MDMA or LSD to get a good hight.. like twice as much as me, and i weigh 30kg more... so yea most anti-depressants interact negatively with psychadelics.
