Well I noticed there is a lot of experienced writers on here and I was just looking for criticism, just a note: I'm pretty young so don't be too judgmental of my writing skills. This is just what I'd like to call a "Mind Cast". My attempt of putting just a fraction of the things that flow through my head daily, I'd like to be able to build up my writing skills enough someday to get all the thoughts on paper.
Well here it is:
I saw a quote today on some random myspace profile today,"Find flaws in life's beauty, find beauty in life's flaws" I got a euphoria flowing along in my stream of consciousness. Triggered by certain mind manifesting chemicals, music, art, human relationships, technology, and the internet. Let me give you another quote before I begin with my mind cast; "Our entire universe is contained in the mind and spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny it's existence. But it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze it's availability."-Sasha Shulgin, chemist and inventor of over dozens of psychedelic drugs. Psychedelic was originally synthesized from the words "mind manifesting" and "mind opening". LSD, DMT, Psilocybin (Magic Mushrooms), and other drugs could open the mind and were given the definition of "psychedelic" While my mind opening chemicals tonight consist of only alcohol and human emotions (which are identical in the way drugs work) I feel like my mind has been opened very widely. I became slightly conscious of the complexions that I experience in everyday life. For example: I saw a flash animation video of an 8 bit music video on YouTube made pretty much of legos. Taking pictures of different parts of building an entire lego MASTER FUCKING PIECE. Buildings being constructed, deconstructed, and blown up, and other things. To do this you have to take pictures frame by frame and put it all together. To give you an idea of how insane that is to make a three minute video: it took the film maker 1500 hours to make a three minute video. My mind pondered deeper and deeper into the complexity of this. I actually don't even fully understand how many various things went on that lead up to that. Well first, Thomas Edison had to discover electricity. Then someone had to invent a camera. Further technological advancements had to be made, computers, etc. Then someone had to invent the internet. Then even further technological advancements, until someone invented YouTube (which is owned by google, so someone had to invent google also) so everyone who has internet connection can watch the video (fast internet invented by cable companies, mass marketing of cable, etc). Oh and shit I'm forgetting, someone had to get the inspiration to invent 8 bit music, which game from video games and some one had to invent lego's. Blah blah blah, you get the point. Even after all that rambling I'm leaving out a huge part of the equation that amounts to the sum of an amazing music video. Such as evolution, brain development, creativity, etc. Questions that haven't even been completely answered yet. All I'm trying to get across is that: everything is fucking amazing, even the flaws, and it's sad that not a lot of people recognize this. This subject of the origin of amazing you tube video is just one of the things that amazed me as I pondered tonight. I don't think I even have the perserverance to go on and on with my random thoughts. There's so fucking many. I need to become a better writer, and I'm working towards this goal. When I was writing this I got an intuitive message in my mind and it went along the lines of this: ""Don't be another mediocre ignorant sheep, know and be one of them, the enlightened ones, conscious beings, and express your self fully".
Basically I just want to be able to express my self in writing more clearly and would love any hints and help. It is VERY frustrating not being able to get the deeper thoughts into reality in stead of keeping them in my head, or whatever consciousness is anyway??? :O
