Awesome pickup and play game. My average game is about 20minutes. Challenging but not frustrating.

While not exactly psychedelic it has a nice clean type of graphics and can be very fun high. Takes the old arakaniod game concept and adds an enemy you must fight.

While the screenshots of this game actually turned me off to the game once I played it it was amazed. As far as psychedelic goes it rivals tranquility. It's quite hard though.

My friend show me Grid Wars/Geometry Wars a while ago. It is trippy indeed, but it never occurred to me to play while tripping out. Thanks for the idea.

I've only tried Tranquility and Grid Wars 2.

Tranquility is not free and I found it kind of hard (even with a normal mouse).
Grid Wars 2, however, I thought was freaking awesome. Lots of control options (making it laptop/trackpad friendly). Just a note: you can't download it off the main site, but there's a link for a Windows and a Mac version at the first review site.

Have yet to try either on a trip.

EDIT: I've also played Darwinia (torrented it) and I must say that game is fun. Never considered it a trippy game, though, lol. It's frustrating when you lose a whole bunch of people, though.

Ah nice catch on that. Guess MS didn't like the cloned game but yea when I first tried tranquility it pissed me off then I just "got" it and its so amazing to play high.

EDIT: Yea I should change it to Psychedelic / Eye Candy Games so it fits both as some are just fun it see the graphics fly around

Tranquility it's so different from your regular game that one at first tries to play it like a regular game, failing. I advice taking the demo, it really explains everything. And relax! I always miss the spinner if I get too worked up

Yea the spinners are hard to hit at first and lol to the golf game. its beta right now so hopefully it will geta bit more polished than it is now.

EDIT: How'd I forget Plasma Pong...eek added. Anyone have any I missed?
