Phentermine, like many other prescription drugs, works with neurotransmitters in the brain. It is a centrally-acting stimulant and is a constitutional isomer of methamphetamine. It stimulates neuron bundles to release a particular group of neurotransmitters known as catecholamines; these include dopamine, epinephrine (also known as adrenalin), and norepinephrine (noradrenaline).

Hmmm not for me anyways... I hate adrenalin and speed....

An adrenaline rush is different from speed. With only adrenaline (or ephedrine likewise) I start to sweat and get shaky, I can't concentrate and I want to run.
With speed I get calm and concentrated first and from that feeling then comes a positive energy to talk and dance and run.
I know it's weird to say I get calm from speed, but for me it's a feeling of total focus that sets in first and that calms my mind. The speediness and energy comes later and is only the second effect.

However I'd be interested in phentermine. Does it trigger a response like ephedrine (mostly like an adrenaline rush) or does it work more like amphetamine?

From waht I have heard it is not very psychoactive and somewhat harmful.

its crappy, if you want a stimulating diet pill type high look for Didrex, there are sites that sell it and can dig them up for you if you want to pm me. Didrex really gets you up there atleast it does for me. the active ingredient is benzphetamine hydrochloride Tho I've never done regular amphetamine so I cannot compare the strength. Does anyone know?
