Ok, I'm sorry but I feel like this needs to be asked. How many of us here would be tested as INFJs or INTJs? I bet a good lot. Myself? An INFJ. Having introverted intuition(Ni) as a base function is one hell of a way to gather information.

(And heres this, if you want it...)

It would be cool if you could ask your question in English , and explain what you are talking about .

It would be, wouldn't it?
Well, where shall I start. There's Jung, the Swedish psychologist, and his theories of personality types. Then a lady with the name of Isabel Briggs Myers applied his theories to create her own indications of personalities. If you don't know by now, I'm referring to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Surely someone here has heard of it. It's got its controversies, but that's psychology for you.

Do you mean Carl Jung the swiss psychiatrist or another Jung ?

i took it a year or 2 ago.... will check it out and post here when i find out! it's definitely changed over the years though

OK maybe its a nice game to play if somneone is bored but its on the same level as horrorscopes in newspapers . I did the short test and am suposed to be "The ambasador" . It makes lots of statements in two columns , the dumb thing is that all the statements in the column i choose arent true for me . If it asked single questions it would be better .

I started doing the long one but broke it off after about 10 lines as on some lines nothing fits to me and on others two things fit to me .

GOD a dit:

Ah, Swiss! There we go. Thanks for the clarity.

There may be a point your missing here, GOD. The test isn't the main idea, most of the tests you'll find are pretty vague and only somewhat accurate. What should be taken into account are the types themselves.
To all who are interested, and the tests aren't working for you, fuck 'em. You'll probably be able to pinpoint your type if you read into it a little.

". The test isn't the main idea, " - "What should be taken into account are the types themselves. "

Whats the point in the tests if they dont say anything ? How does one know what type one is if one doesnt do the test ?

You say read into it a little . To understand it one would have to read all the info about each charakter / personality type and thats a hell of a lot of reading .

looks to me, as GOD said, just a funny way of wasting time.
Not that Jung is that, but these test looks to me just to play, and in almost all questions I would have chosen both answers.
In the turbo I maid INFj
in the turbp xl ISFp

That's true. Some are easier to distinguish than others. Introversion vs. Extraversion, Thinking vs. Feeling, both of those can be figured out by paying attention to yourself in social situations.

And to back-track a bit on what I said, the tests will tell you what type you are, based on, of course, what you answer. That is where a lot of the confusion happens. People's egos getting in the way, etc.

I've also noticed most people who are even interested in this stuff are the more introverted of sorts. Some won't think twice about it. Whatever floats your boat, I've heard.

It's been well-noted that personality type is largely determined by genetics.

I've no idea all the the mumbo jumbo you're talking about.

INFp here

same result as 2 years ago (different test)
