im musing over having a go with with p.cubensis strain, ive never done it before.. it must beat the crap out of walking about fields getting wet feet lol.
If i did bother, i have had a good read of these threads, gone over them a few times to be honest, the basics are simple enough, sterility, humidity, temperature, light- or abscence of it.
i do have a couple of what probably are, really dumb questions though, about the cakes what you make,
1. shrooms are high in zinc, yet theres virtually 0% zinc in the cakes (as far as i know) would some chelated form be good to add to the cake? (one of them hydro feed additives)- i have the complete range knocking about due to my other hobby lol
2. my other question, really relates to alternatives to the cake mix, for example would a bag of canna pro plus, thats been steamed for sterility, mixed with a bit of extra perlite/vermiculite be just as good?
i am just curious, i dont know anything nor will i pretend to lol, but i would like to hear anyones thoughts about it
