...and I'm astounded by the baby results I have already obtained. I could control the direction in where I was looking at last night. :D Got it slightly more vivid also. :D

I have been keeping a dream journal for 5 days now and I realize that the things I remember are getting longer and clearer  no lucid dream but I am patient. There was another user once posting similar and good tipps in another threat,no idea who and when  thanks for the links though

Thanks for the link Henkfloyd! i don't have enough bandwidth for youtube at the moment.
i have been wanting to learn this for so long along with practising meditation. I've found controlling my mind to be extremely difficult.

So, what do you guys do when you're lucid?

Sounds like a good idea.

sounds great, Smith.

i miss keeping a dream diary, it's just too hard to keep up.. it didn't take long to have vivid dreams every single night and the odd lucid dream

generally now i only get partially lucid in the weirdest way.. like having a dream where I would do everything I would do if i were lucid, change reality, etc, except i never realize i'm dreaming

As I wrote on youtube, I tried to have a dream diary, but I make usually 3 dreams per night, quite long, and to describe everything in details, and sensations, would take, don't know, 30 minutes maybe.

What should I do? Just not to be so detailed?

edit:
thanks everybody for links, VERY usefull!

that's the problem for me, it usually takes me that long as well

sometimes if i remember a dream long enough i'll type it down later. unfortunately that's too long a delay and too inefficient to really affect how frequently i recall my dreams. you really have to have the journal there and write it down immediately upon awakening

maybe i should keep one under my pillow ...

I thought it'd be fun, mine didn't got as lucid as reality, but way more vivid than ever and as a result the last days I got two nights in where I was minorly aware of myself in my bed turning around every hour. Falling in my body with minor awareness of it, and back to full dreams, falling back again etc.

I lost my teeth, and there was blood on my tongue when I looked in the mirror in my dream, which seemed more real than most of all dreams in life prior to this one. There's still no control for me. Today I felt tired, and down in the morning.

I'll abandon the journey, I rather just sleep than doing efforts in my time which is supposed to restore me. It fucks with me.

Today I got some flights of anxiety when being around people. :?

I solve the problem of the time-taking diary. It wasn't so hard, actually.

My mp3 reader has also got a mic for recording so... I just take it and describe, then later when I've got time I write it all down.

Works =)

Bad, bad english
good good idea

What I need help with is, that I need to wake up very early and the alarm clock just fucks it all up - total amnesia of dream :? Does anyone have any idea on this?

waking up early and going back to sleep works for me as well usually

When I'm lucid I make jokes and everyone laughs.

I guess it doesn't work for everyone really, because in the past I've tried to remember dreams and I came as far as just having vivid dreams (which was also pretty cool), but not a single lucid dream.

But maybe I'll try it again, because this stuff is really what made me interested in the mind in the first place.
