O no here they come again

So far this has been an exciting grow. Within two weeks of inoculation, all cakes where 100% colonized and I fruited them just a week after that following an overnight dunk in the fridge.

This is the Amazonian strain which anyone who knows that strain, had probably already noticed

you should be proud your babies are very cute. quite beautiful if ya ask me. howcome u arnt usin any perilite? if that why you dunked them? when you say dunk you mean u actualy submerged the cake in water or what do you mean by dunking them. just wondering what other methods besides the perilite for moisture. i do see a folded wet papertowel but just wondering what else is aiding in keeping everything moist n humid

Totally off topic, but what would happen if you would sprinkle a generous amount of liquid acid on the mycelium one or two days before harvesting. Will the mushroom absorb it (it takes in liquid pretty fast in the fruiting stage), or deactivate it? My guess is the latter, though I would still like to do the experiment one day.

Isn't it more economic to just eat the shrooms and the acid separately?

Maybe you should try with non-psychoactive mushrooms, to prevent confusion. Get some nice gourmet-mushrooms laced with acid. :wink:
