I never get hangovers... Ever.. Why? Lol all my friends they freak out in the morning because they are so hungover and I don't feel anything but tired.. Why does this happen? I know that it happens to alot of people, but why? And also does anyone else have this same problem? Well I guess its more like a solution :D

1.you don't drink alot (GOOD)
2.you're still young...

I didn't get hangovers till my 19th birthday. I didn't black out till then either. You have a great tolerance to alcohol when you start out, but as you drink and drink, it wastes away some defenses and you will get hangovers if you continue to drink, and continue to age :) sorry to burst your bubble.

Lol,I don't really like drinking.. Almost every time, I end up puking and I can barely even stand the taste... The only thing I really resort to drinking is mikes or something.. Anyways, I mean I smoked before I drank for my first time. So my first time, I was used to smoking more and more and more. But alcohol... Its almost like you don't quite get to the point of drunkness where it makes you completely insane like with smoking.. I never quite get to the point of intoxication when I drink as when I get it when I smoke.. Lol but yeah I don't drink often.. It isn't really healthy and I dunno.. Just not really insightful.. But it is fun :D Lol and also, the first time I drank I puked about 30 times.. It was rediculous haha, but I didn't know any better.. I always think that I know my limit.. But my brain turns so retarded when I am drunk that I don't remember it :D

Yeah, drinking alcohol can turn very unhealthy very quickly. Take it from a college kid's perspective - please! I drank every weekend for atleast 8 months or very near to that amount. Sometimes both friday and saturday night...

I've puked twice in my life, blacked out numerous time, hangovers little, but I've had them.

Once your hands start shaking, and you feel like friday night you have to drink... that becomes a situation you don't want to be in.

Albeit, I drank much less than most of my friends :?

i enjoy letting go abit every now and then, but i too have a hard time holding it down when i get "drunk", unless im drinking slowly for a long period. but thats only been mabey 2 or 3 times. being court ordered to AA/NA back in the day, i feared that i was an alcoholic because i got drunk every month or so and would never just drink one.

but i now realize how parinoid i was being lol. because ive found out how relaxing 1 - 2 beers is. it took awhile to learn you dont have to get drunk to drink. i like a beer or 2 and afew hits of weed after physicaly tiersom(sp?) day, its a great way to relax abit. but when it comes to socally drinking at a party or something i try not to go past "tipsy".

also, dehydration of the brain causes a large ammount of the feeling you feel while hung over. i couldnt figure out why i would feel like death some days, and wake up only slightly tired other days till i figured out that water plays a huge roll. i would say you drink more water than your friends do, so you dont get as dehydrated.

most these days people dont really drink water at ALL, its shocking. a teacher told me about how drinking the optimum amount of water makes you FEEL healthier, and after trying it i completly agree. i read somewhere that you are supposed to pee clear 6 times in a day(average). i was shocked when i heard that. so now i refill water bottles and keep them in the fridge all the time. i only drink sodas or tea on occasion. and alcohol monthly or bi-monthly. and it truly does make you feel better. i cant really explain the feeling. just try it. dont chug huge ammounts, drink casually often throughout the day.

if only i can get my diet back to what it used to be :(. fucking food in the UK.. ugh. fish n chips.. fast food.. ksuhlfhlssdfjhksfeh ii cant take much more of it. ive had fast food a good 3 times this weekend because of traveling. and i realized the ONLY food that is convient here is unhealty. EVERwhere i went i looked my hardest for a healthy snack but its nothing but crisps, chocolate, sweets, soda, energy drinks, and other diskustingly unhealthy things.

the best thing i could find were those little sandwiches that are individualy packaged, and those things just suck. :ANAL:

Yeah, I learned my lesson with beers.... I drank like 20 of them one time, because I didn't realize that as I was growing up, the adults who were drinking beer, they only drank like 4 over the course of 5 hours.. I thought that they were drinking it like water or something, so thats what I did.. And that was just terrible.. But needless to say, puke has never felt sooo.. Uhm.. Not happening.. Lol I didn't even know I was puking.. Now I can barely stand to drink more than like 2 at a time. At the most, 4 to 7.

And yes, me dad had a few AA problems also. The fuzz will literally fuck you over if you live here. He had to go to jail for a week, pay a butt ton of fines out the whazoo, and had to get a breathalyzer.. Go to AA meetings.. And he drills it into my brain to never drink and drive. And trust me, with what he went through. I won't. Lol

Yeah, I do drink alot more water.. It took me about 12 years of my life from when I was born to realize that water makes you feel good. I used to drink nothing but soda and milk and shit and feel like crap and super tired all the time. Then I just tried the water thing.. And it actually does make you feel better 0.0 Lol not that it surprises me. But I was surprised at how MUCH better it made you feel :D

And that is how the U.S. is now. Did you used to live here? There isn't a day that goes by without someone buying fast food at my house. And pretty much everyone elses.. Me and my friends normally just go hiking and walk around and smoke all day, every day. And we just stop at McDonalds or something and eat. Its hard not to. With the cheap prices.. And the OH so amazing taste.. But I am starting to get sick of it a little..

i changed my mind about the water thing, i feel like death. fmlllll why meeee

50/50 water/vodka. It'll amaze you :D

LOL do you mean mix vodka and water 50/50? Eww.. Just drink like 3 glasses of water every two ours. You should be fine lol I think.. I drank alot last night and thats what I did. I'm feelin all right today :D

i'm not proud

You're probably really young, I guess?
You'll have it more and more when you get older... once you're thirty, you'll have to recover a whole two days from a drinking binge...

It also depends on what kind of drugs you take. I never get hangovers from psychedelics. I also get tired pretty much from them, but no hangovers.

what happens when you drink is, (over long time) the more often you drink, the more of a physical tolerance you gain. so you can drink more and more without puking, and you can also eventually learn to be coordinated while drunk. what happens though, and is more than likely why you get a hangover, is that you're mental tolerance does NOT go up at nearly the same rate. so yes, you can drink more, but you are still doing the same damage to yourself, and you still become as stupid as you did on the same amount of alcohol as before, it is simply that physically, you have learned to bypass some of the side effects. this appears as though your body can just handle more alcohol in general, but, as your throbbing brain will tell you the next morning, it doesn't work that way. and thus, a hangover, (and [hopefully not] alcoholism) is born.

I fucking love alcohol. The thing for my experiences with hangovers is this: The cheaper the booze, the bigger the hangover. I have been SHITFACED, unable to stand on a bottle of 50 dollar scotch and had no hangover. If I drink a bottle of Old Crow, I can't function for two days.
