The forum software has been updated successfully, and so far things are running smooth. You may or may not have noticed some of the new features. I will highlight some of them.
- Embedding YouTube videos in your post. No more clicking on links to play that video someone recommended.. See here for a short tutorial on how to go about adding videos to your post. Post them in this section of the forum.
- Subscribe to forums. Keep track of all forum sections you find interesting, no more need to sift through each of them seperately.
- Report topics. Notice spammers posting? Trolls at work? Hitting the report button
will notify a moderator.
- Friends. This new feature ability enable a user to add friends and foes. The status of friends can be seen from the User Control Panel.
- Foes. Foes are users which will be ignored by default. Posts by these users will not be fully visible and personal messages will not be permitted.
There are a bunch of other new functions and changes, some of which may take some time to to get used to. Overall we believe everyone will benefit from this update. Please let us know how much you love (or hate) the new look and feel!
