Natural tolerance

It seems weird, but has anyone else ever had a natural tolerance to any drugs? I know I've been disappointed by some drugs because of a natural tolerance. Morphine, for example, is the first drug that I became aware of a natural tolerance. While everyone around me takes 30mg (snorted) and gets extremely high, I found 30mg ineffective. It may not be a natural tolerance, but it certainly seems odd that I (being a small kid) hardly feel it unless it's a higher dose, and other, larger people can get the experience so easily. Thoughts?

I`ve heard that about 10% of people have a very high tolerance to alcohol and others = east asians have a very low tolerance . Theres also that good old placebo effect wich can be strengthened when people take things in groups and talk the effects up .

I guess I never took that into account. But it isn't in groups necessarily all the time. Sometimes it'd be solo, and others solo, and they still have experienced the drug much more than I, with the same dose and same method of administration. Although, I'm sure people have exaggerated their experiences. Happens a lot sadly

Only one I know of for myself is that I basically can't have dental work done anymore. It takes some ridiculous amount of anesthetic to work on me, and most of the dentists I've had over the years won't pump anymore into me for fear, even though it still hurts tremendously while they're working.

Me to , mine usualy gives me about 6 injections and my whole head feels numb and zombyfied but it still hurts when he drills !!! They used to give laughing gas , and it definately wasnt a laugh !!! , they had to always have a doctor there . They gave me as much as they were alowed to but the doctor always had to sit on my lap and two nurses had to hold my arms so the dentist could pull the teeth out because i used to flip out an punch my way free . That shit never made me laugh , stoped the pain or put me to sleep , i just felt like i had a train trying to break out of my head wich was probably the feeling and sound of my heart beat .

damn GOD, that sounds bad. I've been in the dentists chair for some time, almost my entire range of teeth needed to be repositioned. Lots of drilling, scratching and peeling. I was so thankful for those injections, the dentist drilled once into the back of my front teeth because it was dying (this was at the age of 14), because I fell onto the floor in the swimming pool a few years before that, and that's what started the dentist nightmare because it broke into half.
He drilled until he hit a nerve, and that was sooo painfull :!:

My body works a zero-intolerance policy. the smallest dose of whatever substance is noticeable, so I'm a pretty cheap user

Yea I don't know if it has anything to do with doses but it seems that my brain can make due with the littlest doses like once it knows what to look for effect wise it can amplify whatever it can find.

Sure it may be all placebo but hell ignorance is bliss

I have this damn tolerance when it comes to shrooms and acid. 500mcg is the ok dose for me. Despite the fact that I take it once in two or three months. Same with shrooms. Controversely, I'm very sensitive to MJ, being a hardhead when using Salvia- 20x never did the trick for me...DXM is absolutely unpredictable- 10 tabs [300mg] can cause ANY sort of effect, varying from baseline to total dissociation. I think there are lots of factors that determine our "sensitivity". And I doubt that weight plays a big, if any, role there. I saw too many fat people gettign laid drunk while skinny guys just did not feel anything...and the doses were equal.

What a sadistic bastard !!!! And how loving of him , it just shows how modern dental knowledge is..........just drill a hole and see if it hurts !!!! So you know what i am talking about , they used to just pull teeth out till the nerve broke like an elastic band and then burn the hole to stop the bleeding !!!! As i got older i used to pump myself full of pain killers before i went in and have a pocket full for when i came out . Now when i go into hospital i always have a gramm of heroin and a gramm of cocaine in packs under a plaster on my stomach just in case it hurts to much .

back on the days being a ''chipper''[An occasional (weekend-month) heroin user] ''a american guy told me that :lol: ..'' i remember this girl was 2-3 times more tolerant then me. (she around 60kg me 90kg)
