Mushy season!!

WOOHOO
within the next few weeks mushroom season begins
i cant wait as i havnt tried them before
we'll be going to the same place my companions have been before for this reason, luckily for me they know what ones to pick out

i've just got a couple of questions
1. i've heard mushrooms being compared to LSD, im wondering to what extent? if its tangible enough to put into words

2. any advice, other than preparing myself appropriately?

It's just like LSD only totally different. Maybe someone better with words can articulate the difference better. I think shrooms talk to your heart and LSD talks to your brain.

Apples and oranges. But both are fruit and both are sweet.

Best way I could put it. Good luck this season! I am hoping to find some too.

I find LSD feels much more mechanical than 'shrooms.
This might just be some kind of placebo effect that I get because of the connotations I have with mushrooms being natural and LSD being man-made though.

They have their similarities but there are also a lot of differences.

There isn't too much advice that you can give a first timer other than make sure your 'set and setting are appropriate.
