That's already forbidden. The upcoming ban does not concern any substance, but a detailed list of species, some not even containing any psilocybin (namely the Amanita muscaria and Amanita pantherina). They're most likely going to include all stages of the cycle, i.e. spore, mycelium and mushroom. The ban that's awaiting above our heads over here in Holland forbids us the possesion or use of psylocybin.

Brugmansia a dit:It's possible to manufacture chocolade bars with psilo in it as well. Would be an easy way to conceal the substance in large quantities for storage or trade.
Just crush dried shrooms to dust and process it in some food. Hence the police, 'Hey Sir, search through my house if you want, and oh, can I offer you some coffee? I got a fridge full with apple pie, too'.
Currently truffels are commonly considered "paddo's", and the word "paddo" is used in the document. And when a species is illegal (the long list, including Psilocybe mexicana), all parts of its life cycle must be illegal too.JJJ a dit:It would be cool, maybe they made the stupid mistake of thinking it's only about mushrooms and forgetting about truffles . In that case smartshops should say nothing, wait for a few months and then just put the truffles back in their shops 8) .
The word 'paddo' has no meaning in a juridic sense . It's just a street name. And the document speaks about 'mushrooms containing psilocin/psilocybin: (...list...)'. I really think that this just literally means that certain mushrooms are forbidden, but nothing more than that. Spores or mycelium are not 'mushrooms containing psilocin/psilocybin': they're not mushrooms. If a law would forbid 'fruits containing vitamin C', followed by a list of fruits including oranges and apples, then such a law would not cover apple and orange trees or their seeds, I think. I am no lawayer, but I think those should be stated explicitly.CaduceusMercurius a dit:Currently truffels are commonly considered "paddo's", and the word "paddo" is used in the document.
