Money as a debt

Yup, I've seen this!
My father works in a bank....And i've told him this....
He agrees, but his motives are what keeps him going and not questioning this way of....living?!
Anyway, I highly recommend this movie.

PLUR, Psyolopher!

Does "Money as Debt" really translate to "Geld als Schuld" in Dutch? Because that's 100% the same in German. That's the first sentence I've ever seen that is written exactly the same in Dutch and German. Down to the last letter. Amazing!
Or maybe you should rather translate "Debt" as "Schulden" in German (the monetary term for "Schuld"). Damn it....

Oh, good movie by the way. I always knew that something wasn't right about interests. I mean earning money by lending money. Where does it come from? But I wasn't quite aware that it's mostly earning money by giving out money that is not even there in the first place. Which is even sicker.
That's the whole problem why some people in this world work 18 hours a day and don't earn enough to feed their children, and others don't really work at all (like bankers, who just transfer hollow air) and can afford private jets and diamond-plated cell-phones...

The real question is: can we avoid it? Isn't the whole concept of money and loans a self-initializing concept? I mean if it wasn't invented yet, wouldn't somebody come up with that brilliant idea in the next minute and everybody would buy into it again?

That's a very interesting question.

As they say in Germany (but not in the Netherlands): Geil!!

We also say "in de schulden zitten" and "ik heb schulden." If you're talking about a certain loan, you could say "een schuld" (singular), but generally we use the plural.

You can extend that question to lots of other things that went wrong. Who would have expected ten thousand years ago that the planet would become overpopulated, that our new means of transportation would pollute the air, that we'd invent pesticides like DDT, etc. I think all of our mistakes were unavoidable, because only after making them could we perceive our impact, and learn how to correct things (which we've done in some areas and should increasingly do in others). Could the War on Drugs have been avoided, or was it inevitable?

It is difficult/impossible to answer. To see into the future is not given to mankind and thus no one could predict the air pollution. The wonderful thing of mankind is, that every step in history is somehow new. We are the first generation of the internet and thus we cannot take the experience of anyone else to calculate how it will affect the future. The war on drugs was influenced by many factors, by saying *what would happen without it* we inevitably must say *what would happen without the influences on it*. Some influences are: The tradition of Mexican toking that was imported to the US, Anslinger, Globalisation, .................

Money and loans OK... but it's interest that creates the problem.

How can you expect people to repay 110 $ if theres only 100 $ in circulation, well someone's gonna have to have a little less ; it quickly gets out of control.

We know purposefully that it's some very bright and machiavelik people in the US administration that profited the most from this.

Hey you are the first country in th world that does not need gold to back printing currency ; what would you do ?

I leave you a bit of time to think about it....

Okay I might like print alot of money and buy stuff on the black market... but when people start counting the money it will look VERY suspicious.

The goal is to dilute suspicions in a way that we'll be FAR away on our private undetectable bunkers when people catch what has happened.

So what would you do ?

Haven't you found out already ?

You would print tons of bills, and knowing that your bills are the strongest currency in the worlds underground market...

You got it !

You buy ALL the drugs of the world, drug your whole population so they think about partying while the sensible people give all their mind to "causes" like save the whales or watch islam.

Then SOME people count SOME of that money, but since they're all buying your drugs you have MORE than the bankers ever had, you now have a way to manipulate not only the system but the dreams of people.

Okay I'm taking it a bit deep here, BUT, it's true.

After a while you have made more trillions than you ever hoped for, you used all that to build self-suffiscient superbunkers, then use the rest to quiet the international bankers who tought they had everything under control, which money they use for propaganda, war and more bunkers... they invent inflation to balance it out and everyone is happy.

Well 1% of the population is at least.

Did you people never see the red white and blue ? Did you notice the colors of the police cars ? Red blue and white, thats universal friends ; cocaine, opium and pharmaceuticals.

It's not connect the dots anymore the game we're playing, it's where the heck did those guys go, and they're so ridiculously advanced we will probably never find them again... only their rubbles after a huge solar maxima blows their technology to bits ; or perhaps they even have something against that, but I doubt it.

What a wonderful world ?
