I know what you mean, but in the context of the thread, when you buy Molly from a dealer, you are expecting to get a capsule with MDMA cristals in it. Maybe sometimes the term is used to simply design MDMA cristals, i dunno, but that kind of things happen pretty often, and generally doesn't confuse anyone. Of course a dealer might call his cristal meth "molly", but then he also could call them "MDMA cristals"...

Why call MDMA cristals Molly? It is very less suspicious to talk on the phone or in public about "Molly" than "MDMA" or "pure ecstasy"... After all it could have been any other name, like Magima, Mortifus, Moogastan or Martiok. But it was Molly. What's important is that people know what you're talking about.
