Mescaline again and again

im about to owe a 12 years old l.williamsii, and i want to consume it with friend ,it will be the first cacti experience, before was lsd,psylocibe shrooms,lsa and some more trips, i read here some posts about cacti dosages, but there everywhere is written about dried material, i want to know how much mescaline there is in fresh cacti ~ ? could you help ? sorry for my english , i know it can be funny reading, but i'd rather read in this language, than write so its not at high level

That is such a beautiful cactus. If you keep it, it will continue to produce more of those little pups. Why not keep it and grow even more peyotes, they are so rare, especially old ones.

If you insist on eating it, please do it the right way. I would honestly, wait until spring and cut the little button off with a sterilized knife and let that little guy grow roots and plant him in some soil. Again, if you do eat the big one, I'd recommend eating the whole thing, and it wont be easy. But make sure that when you cut off the large button, you do eat with a clean, sterile knife and take care of the stump and roots and it will continue to grow more cacti.

Please just order a san pedro instead. They're cheap and you can get them anywhere. Peyotes are special.

That depends on a whole lot of factors. A lot of peyote that is sold on the internet is grafted peyote and therefor, just big balls of water, not very potent. But, doing an extraction is the only way to get the alkaloid content, and that's not recommendd, better to just eat it.

If you have a 12 year old peyote, I would keep it for a lifetime, ( I have only one that is older than 8. 16 is the oldest ) and just let it produce more and more. You can carefully cut off a few pups and root those to plant in different pots.

Damn, that's such a nice cactus you have there! It must feel like a child and you being his father. Seriously, this is unique and I'd keep it, myself would be so attached to a cactus of this size that I'd purchase a firefree place for him to grow.

This cacti is not enough nearly for one person.Believe me. I have one year ago have the same problem-how much to take? I eat one 20 year old one, than 3 20 year old ones and get big disappointment's. You will feel it but this is not Huxley kind of experience. Not even near to the shrooms. Something is not right when they are growth in Europe. Now I only have them for decoration, maybe after 20 years I will try with the rest of them.Than they will have 40 years plus something. :wink:

This is only memory what I have take. Now sprouts are exiting from root.

In Huxley's Doors of Perception he took mescaline only. I have book in front of my nose.

That's what I remember as well. Huxley only took mescaline - and as far as I can remember it was his first psychedelic experience ever, so it might have taken him even further than it might take an experienced psychonaut with the same dose. I can still remember my first hit of a 1/4 "simpson" lsd blotter, it was amazing but nowadays I think it would be disappointing...
