Guys which is more bad for your health (mental & physical) acid or mdma??
I want to alter my mind with either one of the drugs occasionaly (1nce in 4 months or less often) while continuing to be a functional member of society & a good student. Which substance is safer according to you??

Personally i feel MDMA is temporary happiness so i prefer Acid. Plus, the comedown on MDMA is bad.

Please reply only if you are sure of what you are posting.

Thanks :)

Trip safe

The only harm LSD can do is trigger a latent schizophrenia. So if you decide to take acid, make sure before that you have no history of serious mental illness in your family. Physically it is harmless.

MDMA, if used no more than 2-3 times a year in reasonable doses, have very low risk (provided that you don't buy PMA pills). It can also cause shizophrenia or other mental illnesses, and when abused it weakens the serotonin producing cells in the brain.

MDMA is not temporary happiness, it is much more than that, trust me.

But, my question is, why do want to take one of those?

If it's just for having fun, go for MDMA.

For both substances, it all depends on the way you deal with the revelations ;)

From my point of view LSD > MDMA (yup, no argumentation, too tired for that)

NEITHER. They are good for you, but as Psychoid said: abusing MDMA messes with your serotonin levels.

If you want to have a great time go with the pills... if you want to explore your mind go with the little papers...

Thanks for the help guys! I'm slightly nervous about abusing MDMA & getting the serotonin levels messed up cause that has happened earlier. Till now whenever i've done acid its not triggered off any mental illness so i think i'll stick with the acid for now. Plus, i have no risks for schizophrenia (hehe... although i get slightly paranoid at times). Hmm and i'll research more as you guys say. More replies welcome.

Cheers!! :)

They both change brain chemistry, which must be restored afterwards...

I guess MDMA is worse on the teeth + all the dancing and distorted body temperature regulation...

In my opionion:

MDMA is more physical than LSD, consequence --> psysical tiredness
MDMA lowers the serotonin levels in the brain consequence --> mental tiredness and loss of concentration capacity

LSD is mentally more intense than MDMA consequence --> I'm always mentally a bit exhousted, but it always feels like you're reborn after the trip. It doesn't affect my concentration capacity.
I do not believe that lsd (if not abused) does any form of damage to the brain.

Im making it sound a bit like MDMA has more disadvantages than LSD, but that isn't true. These are just the factors that matter to me the most.

As said before in different words, you need to think at what you want to achieve, and select the psychoactive substance based on that.
You just wanna have a blast & feel good? Go for MDMA.
You want an entheogenic & concious expanding experience? Go for LSD.

Peace

Mdma is a very bad choice, mdma is a seretonin realaser so it's very different from any other drug like lsd twho is a 5-ht2a agonist.
I believe that a lsd can even help you to recover from mdma , because lsd can help you to stabilize your seretonin levels.
But lsd if used to much times in a week can also damage your seretonin levels but never like mdma will.

Taking LSD to recover from MDMA is just plain stupid imho

Yes indeed. Being exhousted, and with low serotinin levels thats a guarantee for me for a very uncomfortable trip.

Man, i already experienced that. Its quite bad to do acid on an MDMA comedown.

Atanga do you mean use LSD to recover from MDMA after several days?? Or right after the MDMA trip. Never ever do acid right after MDMA. I don't even know if i'll do MDMA ever again. Gonna stick to Pot and the rare Acid trip now.

Peace

I thought MDMA causes dendrite branch damage. I believe Terence Mckenna was talking about this on one of his videos. I would go for LSD, just be careful.

PEACE & LOVE

Hi everyone, i've finally got my hands on 3 blotters!!! hehe... My friend who has done one from the same batch says its very good. But i don't know the exact dose. What is the max number of micrograms one blotter paper can hold?? Oh and if i do one blotter at start and drop another one maybe after 3 hours of the trip, will i trip more intensely or more longer or both??
Gonna drop them as soon as i get some free time.

Cheers.

There's no practical way of knowing the quantity of mics that I know of. And I think that you should consume what you decide in one go.

recent research has shown mdma has no long term effects at all. in a recent survey of the twenty most commonly used drugs in UK , involving hundreds of doctors, scientists and health care professionals heroin was the most destructive (health, social impact, deaths per year, longterm effects),
followed by cocaine/crack. alcohol and cigarettes followed soon after that and mdma was third from the bottom with almost no risk from the drug itself. those who have died were either alergic, overheated due to dancing or drank too much water.psychologically its a lot safer than acid

This research interests me a lot! Where could I read about it?

It has been published in The Lancet last year. If I find the article I will post it here. I noticed that the final results have recently been published in Humo, a belgian commercial magazine...

It has got some media-attention but legally, nothing changed :(
