Made a "small" mistake...

So I bought my first growset just before the new shroom law came into effect, it should have come with a manual...which it didn't.
Anyway, instead of going back I read up about growsets on the internet, and followed the instructions as found on http://www.sjamaan.com/en/

So I just put a little water onto the top, put the package into the bag, and waited for a few days.
Now I've read somewhere ( http://www.mushmush.nl/?page=begin\kweekset ) that I was supposed to put the whole package full of water, let it sit there for 12 hours, let the water drain, and then put it into the bag. (this kit looks exactly like mine)

Mind you I can see the first of the mycelium coming up but I suppose its taking longer then it was supposed to (5 days).

In other words, is there any way I can fix this now (adding some water after the package has been openend for a few days?), Am I just screwed, or will it just take a little while longer and will I get less because I didn't put nearly enough water in it?

I'd say....... If the cake is colonizing and it looks healthy, wait for it to colonize and than dip it in water and put it in the fridge for 12 hours. Than again, I don't know what kind of kit you have!

I think i had the same growbox, but don't worry. Just fill the box with some water for 12 houres, put it back in the plastic bag. And your ready to go!

I think you have bought this growbox(i just guess), and they have the instructions online.

Thats the one right there Oh wel I will try the water thing, it's not like I got much to lose now is there >_>
Otherwise, I'll just have to search Amsterdam for a new one..

I think, everything will work out fine If it is still a fresh box, you even can keep it for a view weeks without a problem. After you have watered them and created the right conditions for them to grow in, you will see those mushrooms probably pop out after 8 or 12 days. So thhink about the temperature!, the temperature has to be somewhere between the 23 and 25. If it's below the 23, they will hardly grow or stop even stop growing, i had this problem also when i did grow my own mushrooms for the first time.
