Vigil for Cannabis Patient Prisoners


"They should be happy that I stop at all for them this year," declares
Santa Claus. "They have stolen from patients, thwarted justice,
terrorized the state of California and wasted huge amounts of valuable
resources. They are shameful, unapologetic and should be spanked and
sent to bed without supper."

Where: 255 E. Temple Street, Downtown Los Angeles – Edward R.
Roybal Federal Building

When: Wednesday, December 24, 2008 – 4:00 p.m.


Please gather this Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at the federal building in downtown LA
in anticipation of Santa's arrival as he delivers our "gifts" to the DEA.

We will then march around the corner to the federal jail in honor of those
patients who remain in federal prison for cultivating/providing our medicine.

What to bring (if you like – people always ask – but not mandatory – JUST
BE THERE):

1.) You may want an umbrella – it may be rainy on Wednesday but candles
look good under umbrellas.

2.) Fill a black trash bag with newspaper or other stuffing.
Put a sign on the bag that reads C.O.A.L.
Feel free to put a bow in it or a large "To: DEA/From: Santa" tag on it. The more bags of coal, the better.

3.) Make a sign for a prisoner – In honor of (their name), Happy Holidays to (their name)
and their release date, me miss you. Or in memory of (the patient prisoners who have died in jail.)

4.) A candle, paper cup, lighter.

5.) At least FIVE friends to join you.


Patients are gathering and making props this week.
Stay posted for spontaneous art parties and other activities around this
rally and after the event. Please attend even if you can't make or bring anything.
We are anticipating GOOD media coverage.

Let's make sure the DEA knows that they were very naughty this year!

THIS WEDNESDAY SANTA CLAUS DELIVERS COAL TO THE DEA

MEDICAL CANNABIS PATIENTS HONOR THOSE IN PRISON

LOS ANGELES – December 21, 2008 - Santa Claus has announced that he is delivering a
few bags of coal to 255 E. Temple Street in Downtown Los
Angeles this Wednesday at 4 p.m.


"The DEA should be happy that I stop at all for them this year," declares
Mr. Claus. "They have stolen from patients, thwarted justice, terrorized
the state of California and wasted huge amounts of valuable resources.

They are shameful, unapologetic, should be spanked and sent to bed without supper."

Patients will gather to tell Santa their wishes for the New Year and new
White House Administration and hold a candlelight vigil for those patients
who remain in prison due to U.S. failed drug policies.

"There are many wonderful people in our jails and prisons who are
non-violent cannabis users. They should be at home with their families,
not in prison. We demand president-elect Obama put an end to these raids
and useless incarcerations," states Degé Coutee, president of Patient
Advocacy Network, a Southern California based medical cannabis patient
advocacy and education organization.

Coutee continues, "What we witnessed last week was no more than armed
Christmas shopping. The DEA took televisions, jewelry and cars, but no
arrests were made all while holding patients at gunpoint. This is not
public safety. This is government sanctioned terrorism."

There have been 10 DEA raids on legally qualified patients and their
providers throughout Southern California in the last two weeks.
Cash, medicine and personal property were taken, some without a warrant.
No arrests were made but patients were threatened.

Did you all know cannabis resin on your teeth makes an excellent protection against basteria and cavities ?

A couple of weeks ago I read somewhere that 'hash smokers' have more dental problems or something. I figured it might have to do with the dry mouth.

Yeah because you need your teeth to dip in mineral rich saliva all the time to remain mineralised, it's the calcium, phosphate and magnesium that do the trick

Since I know you guys like HUGE scandals and wonder stories I'll throw this in :

There is an awesome product called recaldent ; it's a form of soluble calcium-phosphate compound made with milk proteins. It has been proven in many tests backed with electron microscopy to actually repair teeth plugging porous dentin and recreating enamel from just having the right minerals mixed with your saliva.

This was another of my strange adventures in lala land ! When I read about it I wanted it immediately (I have real bad teeth) so I went to the local stores to find out that it wasn't where it was suppsoed to be (Trident White).

So naturally I called them, they told me : "Sir I have a pack right in my hand , it's written recaldent on the upper left corner, don't you see it ?"

Me : "Of course I don't see it ! It's not in there ! I just looked at the ingredients list, it's not in there either !"

Trident : "Well thats strange, I'll make some calls and call you back right away"

...

10 days later still no call, I go to the website that clearly stated :

All trident white gum now contains recaldent which is proven to strenghten and repair damaged teeth !

I go to 4-5 more stores that are supposed to have fresh stock , they have all the NEW flavors, but still no recaldent !

I send them a serie of e-mails asking about that and other stuff, like what enzymes make the trident enzyme trio that helps with plaque, and other stuff.

In a serie of 6 answer-replies they basically refuse to tell me ANYTHING about recaldent, they actually jump over the question as if I never asked them !!!

I'm baffled and in the last e-mail I ask only that question, they basically told me to go take care of my own business and that they have no control over what the DISTRIBUTORS do. That makes no sense, they produce the gum especially with NO recaldent for the US and CANADA, yet they will produce recaldent gum for china and europe ?

Oh and a new marketting ploy probably to sell the product at a higher price, trident white does not have the recaldent in the US neither it seems, but it used to since I easily ordered some from the US on e-bay. This has changed recently ! They all did these changes pretty quietly ? Industry lobbying ?

And heres some crazy UK site ; which does not eve list trident white or xtra care.

I was able to buy the xtra care from the US on e-bay as well.

But no way to find recaldent in gum in canada, you can buy a tooth mousse specially made to repair tooth from some companies however, happily the recaldent company did not sign exclusivity rights to trident !

Ok so wait a minute here ; we have fluoride that makes your teeth crystalline and basically makes something that is meant to be like a flexible surface into a very hard but brittle ivory. And we have recaldent , which keeps the surface of the teeth integral and is proven to repair damaged teeth.

Fluoride costs 38$ a kg, while recaldent must cost much more, thus less profit.

You don't see much dentists trying to promote a REAL breakthrough substance to repair teeth ? No they still support rat poison that was introduced something like 50 years ago, and that not many significant tests have been performed on, that is rejected by the FDA, the pasteur institute, and whole countries in the european union ?

I call BULLSHIT on this one ! Again this is not conspiracy theories, it's just industrial interests in action, probably noone is responsible for this, trident has always been a good company in my opinion , finding alternatives like enzymes to keep people teeth heahtly, even if they INSIST on putting methanol based aspartame in their gum. I told them it was a bad idea !

Canada has the highest dentist per inhabitant ratio in the world ; you can walk in a city and spot 5-10 dentist offices in about 15 minutes !

Thats a big money industry there ; would they be interested in adding recaldent to milk ? Would cost the government a big amount since it's patented and all, but if they can put it into gum and still make the gum affordable, they can certainly add it to milk or force dentists to make this treatment on the teeth instead of fluoride !

But what would happen here, oh no more cavities, or next to none. We have to divulge the dentistry SCAM, and have people realise that teeth are a living thing and CAN be remineralised.

Oh so now not only we know there is a product proven to do it, we know it's supposed to happen naturally if we eat the right things, perhaps we can even invent our own recaldent type formulations !

Thats billions of dollars, and lots of dentist that have to rely on dentures to survive...
