So recently I've found very little to practice the trade. As such, I rely on my old friend and trusted companion, MJ. The one thing that I never get tired of with weed is that when you get over that "phase" it really becomes less about the drug and more about you. As I said, recently I've been smoking quite often before bed and then practicing different forms of meditation. I've found, much to my amazement how much you can accomplish with some potent weed. Currently I'm working on snapping in and out of "sober" states while getting high.
Basically, you smoke two to three bowls and let it come on, say ten to fifteen minutes. Once you're really over the edge, sit down in the dark, breathe in and out quickly and start counting down from ten. Each time you want to gather your thoughts, you want to bring yourself back to baseline, if only for a moment. After some practice you can be absolutely flat-line. Here's the interesting part (because obviously me telling you to get high and then saying become sober is kind of counterintuitive), after you've conquered full control, learn to let go of sobriety, almost instantaneously. For me it becomes waves of energy pouring through my body, literarily vibrating almost like a tuning fork trying to get to the right frequency again. Honestly, an amazing feeling, and highly reccommended. So next time you have some extra time, and some bud, give it a try and let me know. Also, I'd really appreciate any other meditation/spiritual techniques one has come across while smoking?
