I don't think that spreading Jesus/Mohammed bashing amoung each of us will affect our connection. But you'll have to be more reticent outside this community if you want to serve mankind.

My view on it is neutral. I believe that most 'semi-religious' people, those who're generally attracted to the metaphors and figures with a central role, are fairly reachable for our philosophy. You don't even have to tell them about any use of a substance. But an honest conversation about their self and you is usually sufficient for a voluntarily alliance, especially if they are more leaning towards the feelings than the content of their religion. It'll be naturally.

You'll notice that there's definitely a bridge for a psychonaut to connect others without even having to tell them about your psychoactive use.
Offending prejudices are definitely closing the gate before getting the chance to fall into a deeper approach.
