jellylike substance ?

Hi!

I just harvested my second mushroom flush But there's somethin strange..
the mushrooms which look really good and most are like 10-15 cm have at the bottom where it gets thicker at the ground a covering on the mushrooms which could be described as almost jellylike and a bit transparent... is this bad? or what is this?? can it be eaten? i'm currently drying them after having cleaned them a bit with water from some spores.

The caps sometimes have a bit of a jelly slime on them but i`ve never seen that sort of thing on the base of the stems . Is it growing ? What exactly does it look like ? Can you make a foto of it please and post it ?

hello!

i just took a look at the almost dried shrooms... well the jellylike substance at the stems and i had found it also on the caps has turned now into blue! so the stems of the shrooms are like pale blue or blue... good or bad? i heard blue is a sign for psychoactivity? i can make some pictures and post them as soon as i have bought some batteries for my cam.

Jelly like contams are mostly bacteria... Did it smell bad?

hmm no didn't really smell it was just a bit dirty and had some spores on it... i saw this when i washed them... so hmm.. you think it's bacteria? well now that they are dried the stuff turned out to a bit of blue covering at the stems... the same substance was on the caps ... but not so much as down at the stems...

heh but the feeling was funny of the stuff... if it were bacteria i'd be a bit confused cuz bacteria are different?? the substance was yeah kind of jellylike but i couldn't get it off easily...only at the places on the caps were there was substance too... it was also a bit like very hard gelatine. and almost transparent.

No problem i think
It must have been some mycelium that was on the stems, which gets slimy when you wash the shrooms 8)

I'm pretty sure before you washed the shrooms it was fluffy white stuff (mycelium) which is normal on psilocybe shrooms. As soon as you wash it, it becomes slimy - and shrooms always turn blue when you grab them (i.e. you "hurt" the shroom and it bruises blue, just like your skin )
