That we have the means on earth TODAY, to live a life free of a job, cut out fossil fuels, stop polution, improve transportation beyond planes, and stop using non renuable energy sources completly. but we dont... all for the sake of profit?

Hey trick,
Great find on the video. Watches bits and pieces and it all was well documented, and had pretty objective insights. I honestly agree that in theory, we could possibly come together and build a utopia of sorts, one in which at least the basic problems of today could be handled, BUT...

I think humans in general are confrontational creatures. I think we're all about the "us" versus "them" mentality no matter what. That's what keeps us trying to be on the "winning" side. And if that's too broad, then to put it simply we dislike not being unique (most individualistic countries i.e. most of Europe, North America, Russia, etc). And to make ourselves unique, we distinguish ourselves by lowering the competition and TADAAA shitty crappy real world.

I might be pessimistic (or just really high), but I can't help but think what would have been if human beings weren't allowed to have the ability to feel special.

people don't have impetus, todays motivation is just interference of waves, we need to all start at the same point so it becomes a constructive interference, not a destructive.

Oh and yes I've seen this - it's called zeitgeist. google videos has it.

I'll explain the economy, and what it is later, I'm tired.
