Inverted hands.

This all began in the first weed smoking days of my youth - 15ish years old.

The day after smoking alot with friends, my hands would become numb, really weird numb like they would 'disappear' from my mind - my mind wouldn't acknowledge they were at my side, almost like I lost them.

Then it started happening when completely sober - I would be typing on the keyboard, or have my hands in front of me, below my focal point, and they would invert. I.e. my brain would begin to think my left hand was actually my right hand, but facing the opposite way...

Has anyone else ever felt this? Its very bizarre and feels like I'm typing with the back of my right hand...

I've never had that exactly, but I've had perceptions with weed that continued into sobriety. After a period of vapourizing large amounts of quality hash, I began to randomly have altered perceptions of time (though that happens normally), size and distance. Took a little while for those to stop, funny though.

yesterday my hands "disappeared" as well, they never switched sides though
it doesn't happen when I'm sober, I think. but it's a weird feeling. ever tried making your whole body disappear? might give it a try next time I'm overly stoned.

Haha I don't think I can get the whole body - I can't do it on demand, it just happens at times. I havn't smoked in some time either, atleast 3 weeks, and before that it was possibly 4-5months.

i know that and making want the whole body dissapear works great if you just let your awareness float! either you'll sleep or enter a meditation psychadelic realm or float out of your body but consciously.

Yeah I've had the same sort of thing happen to me with the numbing of the hands.
First time I got high I remember asking my cousin for ice to put on my hands 'cause they felt hot and numb.

I've never gotten the "inverted" feeling but I know what you mean about them disappearing, its weird that several people have noted something similar?

idk once I felt like I had two throats though. that was pretty weird. Like half my throat was numb so when I swallowed saliva I felt like I had 2 throats. 0_o
