Give me your interests, hobbies, activites other than psychodelics, spiritualism, meditation, etc.

I draw, which was originally not psychodelic, but as I came to terms with it, it's probably my deepest emotions and visions.

I do graffiti when time & money permit. I don't have anyone to go with really, so it's a rarity.

I like to make things, I've made my own lamp (which is pretty sweet), speakers, tazers, what have you; I like custom building stuff from scrap. That's a really fun hobby of mine.

I'm really into horticulture and growing plants. If I had my own house I would say a large portion of my income would be into buying plants, lights, and energy sources (solar) for them all.

I dabble once in a while in frontiers of science - I'd like to solve the world's energy crisis. I know that it will come from some sort of photovoltaics, but I've just got to find how. The simplest answer is the best.

I also dabble in neurology and the chemistry of neurology (what I'm going to school for)

How bout choo goys?

Taking a walk in the woods, or going to festivals or reading books. Just driving around in my car visiting new places where i have never been before. Although its a hobby which i can't do everyday, i really love to travel to other country's and stay on campings. I also like drawing, but i am not that artistic.

Greets and Love,
Hermes.

Ohw, i forgot to mention i am a pinball addict :P

I didn't make a secret out of it, I love photography - doing it and looking at works of other people. there is something about gathering light rays through a bundle of lenses and changing the chemical surface of film to create what one might call an image of reality.
I'm not sure what I'm trying to achieve with photography, what I want to show others, which is in the end what it's all about, apart from keeping the pictures for myself.
this way of approaching photography (trying to achieve something) is probably a bit too methodic, at least for my taste. right now I just take photos of things I see, things that are aesthetically appealing - for whichever reason. if it's the shadow of a table, or light falling onto garbage cans or our dishwashers inside - doesn't matter.
some people say that photography is holding onto things, being afraid of change, trying to conserve what's there - if you know what I mean. I don't like to think that way, to me it's more a way of acknowledging the only constant that is there: change.

other interests of mine include traveling (love it), music of course, walks (no matter where exactly, be it the city, nature and forests, in the mountains etc.), and a variety of more different things - categorically anything actually, some things more, some things less. (surprise!)

edit: after reading the other posts I was reminded that I like to do yoga and meditation as well - mostly guided. right now I'm attending the weekly meeting of viennese sufis, it's quite interesting actually. meditating in a group is a lot more "productive", somehow - in contrast to yoga, which is best for me when I do it with just another person, not a big group.

Mostly in the past: hiking, rock climbing, speleology (descending into narrow caves), white water kayaking, skiing, snorkeling, scuba diving, bird watching, skateboarding, drumming, singing, drawing cartoons, writing short articles (first for school paper, later magazines and websites), translating interesting books, exploring different types of music, dabbling with (guided) meditation and yoga, reading books (Indian philosophy, psychology, geometry), downloading porn, participating in forum discussions, studying astrology, recording and editing video's, smoking pot and doing a psychedelic every now and then.

hrmz. lets try a full bio. walking, running, hiking. i'd have to say that i prefer woods hands down. even walking on too much asphalt (more then several miles) messes with my heels. plus nothing is better than the shade trees produce on a hot day :D . i just love moving, being mobile in the most efficient way. but as far as actual creative activities, i've been skateboarding for about 8 years now, but i blew one of those years by smoking waaaay too much green. wouldn't trade it still, alot of good insight has come of it...
anyways, i've also picked up kickboxing and started taking it seriously around 4-5 months ago, but i've always been in some sort of program like that, be it choi kwang do, hapkido, tae kwon do, just never was never even exposed to the competition side of it  . so yeah, plans to get solid with muay thai, get some bouts under my belt whilst tackling judo and jiujitsu so i can eventually find my nest in MMA.
that's where most of my attention has been lately, but i still love taking the time to relax, just kick back with some friends, smoke a lil herb, i dont drink very much, but parties can still be fun in the right environment. i make myself earn them though. i definitely recognize the importance of balancing personal time with social time. sometimes it can be a delicate soiree, requiring alot of my thought and planning, but it almost always pays off. staying productive that is, organizing your time like a meal, for feeding the soul. i read somewhere not too long ago "make a routine of breaking your routine" and have tried to live by it ever since. i play hacky sack, played soccer for 8 years, play random pickup sports with friends when i can, it's just all about keeping it fresh, using your more introspective times to create more avenues for social activities instead of trying to force old ones, and then when the time comes, make the best of it, when it passes, repeat.

idk that's just my personal time too, i could go on forever about that really, but as far as actually going somewhere, im enrolled in a local college with plans to get some classes out of the way for cheap, save some moneys to move towards the bustle, and find a good university that can cater to my well rounded (if not eccentric and all over the place) ideas of how i want to help the world. thus far, i've got some ideas in creative design/web design, general science as well as learning things like electrical components, engineering, really i couldn't even draw you a pretty picture of exactly what direction im heading yet, but when i get to that point is should be a little more clear. until then, no worries!

what about the rest of you guys? i know we've got more members than this

I've been running a student association for the past year, so that took up a lot of time (even more energy) but it taught me a lot about disciprine and motivation (it was also a very fun time where six people got to know eachother quite well). Other than that I LOVE sailing (it's my fav. way of spending time :)). Like to go running some times, but I always manage to do it quite actively for a month or so and then I quit for a couple months again =/ Like to play starcraft 2 beta (in time full version) which is fun as I haven't been a gamer for quite a while :). Playing drums/djembe (although not so much of the latter). Other than that I like to spend time at my scoutclub (we also sail, it's why I got into it :)) and I suppose that's pretty much it :)

I like reading...just about anything, from stephen hawking to roald dahl
i'm currently reading naked lunch by william burroughs...man its crazy
i enjoy alot of kinds of art, tattoo art is something i really get into
I'm a woodcarver so thats a big interest of mine, just recently picked it up again after not doing much for over a year

other than psychedelics i take drugs :D its a passtime as well as a hobby
one of my least favourite drugs is alcohol yet i still drink socially or when i feel self destructive
so going out for drinks with friends is on the list 2..

I'm heavily into Mysticism and spend hours of each day trying to figure out the universe and my place in it. I meditate regularly, if somewhat irratically. I also spend time writing my book and updating my website. I spend a fair bit of time online and enjoy debating with people on a variety of topics, mostly to do with philosophy, religion and politics. Appart from that, I read quite a bit on topics ranging from philosophy, to politics, economics and history, with about three books on the go at most times.

I've been quite involved in politics in the past, having been a member of one of the major political parties here in Oz, although I quit a couple of months ago. Up until recently, I played quite a lot of computer games, but other things have become more important so this has become only a minor passtime, with a game being played maybe once every couple of weeks.

I have a golden retriever puppy (well a dog, but she acts like a puppy), and regularly take her for walks where she can run free and excersise her little self into the ground.

It doesn't seem like much, but along with work and catching up with friends, it keeps me quite busy indeed.

you could add that to my bio as well :D , only minus the bookwriting, and i dont have a website... :( however, i do keep a dream journal/general journal as of about october or november last year. maybe ill compile some of it to book format..

Repetitive to everything above but love to read and write. Huge fan of existential writing as well as philosophy. Love television for some strange reason. Travel is up there. Most of all I like doing spontaneous stuff... i.e. get in a car and just drive straight for a day, visit something weird, and drive back. Museums, art shows, festivals, etc. I also like long walks on the beach, and puppies.

I'm a huge fish nerd, love aquariums and fishing. I love photography and have invested way too much money into that hobby! Love a good movie or book, but usually don't have the attention span (RE: Discipline) to finish one. I just picked up a few new interests recently too, including bicycles and body-building. Travel is the most important to me in life; of the earth, of my mind, and of the times. I want to get in to martial arts after I quiet down from earth-travel

Total nature freak, I am spending 2.5/3 months off work camping and hiking this summer. Wilderness survival is another big interest for me. I'd like to live the way we humans used to, from time to time, in nature with only my own hand-made technology- but I've lots of training first! Used to be a gamer, but decided it is not a valuable way to spend time, nature is far better! I enjoy music too of course, listen whenever I can. I like to play also, I have a HAPI drum which is perfect for trips and playing after smoking some green, need a djembe too... Besides that, I do lots and lots of research on anything/everything, most is forgotten because of broccoli

My 3 Passions at the moment.

I love my music production. nothing satisfies me more than creating something that other people can dance/relate/feel to.

I also love my motorbikes, it feels like an extension of the human body 'a control for every limb' this provides me with my rush :D

and my last, exercising. i have spent most of my life rather unhealthy and since getting into psychedelics i have been able to realise this and have turned my life completely around. i work out daily and feed my body with the best fuel i can, it is very rewarding.

I also occasionally build random things. like the past couple weeks i have been working on a new lizard cage which takes up most of my lounge room wall. cant wait for this to be finished!

HAHA! Me too bro, that's why I got the HAPI
